Sounds like someone needs a civics lesson, which seems strange for a man who occupied the office in question once already. Former governor Charlie Crist, hoping to get some momentum in a moribund campaign for another term, told reporter Glenna Milberg that he would ban “assault weapons” by executive fiat on his first day in office.

Just a reminder that Charlie Crist was Mitch McConnell's preferred candidate for Senate in 2010.
McConnell always supports the most liberal republican available (he calls them the most electable).
And of course, several of these have subsequently become democrats, to nobody's surprise (Specter, Crist)

Just force everyone to stop making ammo. You can’t find 12 gauge deer sabot ammo. So in Illinois they are allowing straight wall round long guns next year to hunt with . Great… now I have a Remington Super Mag 1187 with slug barrel. A $1,000 firearm thats worthless now for deer hunting.

I bet $100 he can’t define an assault weapon. The ATF nominee couldn’t during a recent heading. Even he tweeted earlier that they should be banned.
“Assault weapon” is a political term created by anti-gun legislators to ban some semi-automatic rifles.
