Ukraine is losing 60-100 soldiers per day KIA and around 500 soldiers wounded in action

Ukraine is losing 60-100 soldiers per day as killed in action and around 500 soldiers as wounded in action.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the American TV channel Newsmax, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The situation is very difficult. We’re losing 60-100 soldiers per day as killed in action and something around 500 people as wounded in action. So we are holding our defensive perimeters. The most difficult situation is in the east of Ukraine and southern Donetsk and Luhansk,” Zelensky told.

In his words, Putin cannot win, and the world must stop defending him amid the latest atrocities committed by Russian troops.

“Now, he [Putin – Ed.] is almost isolated. The world always keeps giving him a chance, because the sanctions are not imposed completely. There are gaps in some of the leaders saying the Russian leader should be offered with a way out,” the President of Ukraine noted.

According to Zelensky, the weakness of Putin and Russia is not only in failing to occupy a smaller neighboring nation but also in attempts to take him out as leader.

“Attempting to kill the leader of this or that country is a weakness, I would say. If you can’t talk, then it’s a weakness. The weakness is to start the war, and they’ve already demonstrated there is weakness. If you can’t occupy that country, that’s a weakness. And simultaneously, if you would like something to happen to the family of the other country’s leader then that’s a political inability to do anything,” Zelensky added.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching air and missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.

Zelensky seems to have difficulty understanding that the west wants this war to be a drawn out affair of attrition. They are walking a fine line of inflicting pain on the Russians but no so much that they pull out the nukes, or expand the battlefield. All this is being played out on Ukraine's homeland, which should indicate the west is willing to watch that nation get destroyed for what they see as a greater good.

When will Zelensky realize that him and his nation are being used? Does he think the willingness to spend $40 billion means we want him to win? No, we just want him to keep fighting.

will Zelensky realize that him and his nation are being used?

Probably not and the death/injury toll will be incredible for Biden's little proxy war.

Agreed.

There are no good guys in leadership on any of the sides involved in Ukraine. I don’t understand why so many here have so much trouble with that concept.

Who are the analysts?

Just from what I can find quickly, from a BBC correspondent in Lysychansk watching the battle for Severodonetsk:
"The scene of devastation in a third city, Rubizhne - in peacetime just a short drive to the north - shows what Russia's unrelenting artillery fire is capable of. Looking from Lysychansk into the distance, there is now a blot on the emerald green landscape. The small city is gone - scoured from the earth.
The way it fell some two weeks ago, marks an important shift in how Vladimir Putin's forces are now fighting the war. Gone are long armoured columns and tank and infantry attacks seen in the first months, in favour of large-scale artillery barrages - as many as 1500 shells a day in Rubizhne - to wipe out resistance before any ground advance.
Overwhelming Russian firepower - particularly artillery - underlines the urgent need, say Ukrainian field commanders, for more advanced weapons from the West to halt the enemy advance....
...Since the start of the war, military analysts have made much of Russia's rising casualty numbers and the weakness of morale among its soldiers. Casualty numbers are still rising, but Russia isn't running out of men in Donbas. Nor is the Kremlin running short of artillery shells. The explosives which are hammering Lysychansk and Severodonetsk seem in plentiful supply. The surrounding countryside too is marked like a pox with black artillery craters spreading for miles along fields and roadways.
"There's a lot of artillery," says Vladimir. "Bombardments are like a nightmare, we shoot one round, they shoot 10. When our sniper is shooting, they send in a full packet of Grads on his position. So it's basically a sniper with one bullet and they send like $1,000 of artillery rounds. They really don't care how much ammunition they use.""

In before FR’s paid Globohomoists tell you you’re a Puton supporter...

These are statements from Zelenskyy, they are not Russian propaganda.

Well, if Zelensky says they’re losing that much, then a good rule of thumb would be to double or triple it.

Concurring bump...more like 300 per day KIA.

To try to get inside Zelenskyy’s head fir a minute,

Zelenskyy is getting bribed, or threatened. There is no way a competent, patriotic leader would continue to put his countrymen into the meat grinder day after day.

He had a chance to end it months ago, secede the eastern provinces to Russia, and declare peace. But he was urged by western warmongers to fight, with the promise that the Ukrainians could beat Russia.

Now he'll end up in the same place, with a ruined depleted army, with tens of thousands dead or injured.

So if Z is losing 500 daily, that’s 15K per month and if he has about 150K useful troops: then does that mean we only have to be inundated with the soros/Biden trolls for 10 more months?

“There is no way a competent, patriotic leader would continue to put his countrymen into the meat grinder day after day.”

Lincoln and Grant did it.

If Ukraine is losing 60-100 soldiers per day KIA and around 500 soldiers wounded in action, then Russia is losing 600-1,000 soldiers per day KIA and around 5,000 soldiers wounded in action.

“Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.”

Well, someone’s getting paid for it. I hope the folks who LEAPED to his defense feel a little abashed at this point.

It looks bleak for the Ukrainian armed firces, I’ll you that.

That said, they are entitled, come hell or high water, if it comes to that, to continue fighting and resisting the invasion, and defending themselves against the wheezing, stumbling Bear.

Criticism from you or other likeminded individuals does not vitiate this natural sovereign right.

Interesting—On Fox News this morning—NOT ONE WORD on the War in the Ukraine. That means they are losing. No stories of “Brave Ukrainians defeating Russian Conscripts or Putin’s coming fall from power.” No Generals telling how Russia has lost a Million Men in Ukraine and Ukrainian partisans taking out Russians. Talk of Pushing out Russians from Crimea and Donbas has gone silent. Interesting.

Trump would be doing much better and there probably would never have been an invasion.

I’m still not going to cheer for Putin or play silly dialectic games.

Trump was and is essentially “neocon” despite all the silly pro Putin blather here on FR.

So true!

Visit Washington. DC and you should find plenty on the receiving end of that $50 billion we sent over to the Zelensky money-laundering machine.

Does the name Hunter Biden sound familiar? How about the 10% guy??

What a wonderful way to rip us all off!

Don’t you know that Paul Manafort is spinning in his jail cell wondering how he ended up in prison for the rest of his life for taking the Uke money? All of this while the crackhead and 10% big guy are laughing all the way to the bank.
