Cornyn do you didnt mind piling in the cops before, saying they had a systemic racism problem. But when presented with a real case of with real world consequences where cops hid from danger while Kids were shot to death Cornyn suddenly decides cops should never be questioned.

I’m shocked that they could just stand around and do nothing.
I watched a shootout 20 years ago. 3 guys (at least) in a restaurant parking lot. I was unarmed too since I was traveling. I was 150 feet or so from the shootout.
Had to stop a young woman TWICE from driving her truck right into the gun battle. I had to step in front of the truck the second time and tell her she was gonna get her 6-8 year old girl killed by driving into it.
There were shooters from at least 3 angles (Tulsa). I had just finished a job interview and the owner of the company dropped me off.
I went into the Barnes and Noble store. Browsed for a few minutes then realized I was supposed to call a guy to take me to the airport in the morning.
This will seem hard to believe but as I got to the small vestibule a few feet from the outer door I felt (as if) a hand was placed right in the middle my chest to stop me or pause me. True story.
Nobody was there. Angel, perhaps?
Have they identified the teacher that left the door open?
Or will he/she miraculously vanish as we’re told that his/her identity does not matter nor does their actions that day.
Let’s just concentrate on the $1500(low end) rifles that this sh*tbird had.
So they had Uvalde city police and the Border Patrol guys.
Was there any county law enforcement around?
As with so many things that have happened since CornPop moved into the White House, the questions continue to mount.
Wouldn’t it be a conflict of interest being a city council member and a city employee/school police chief. He has oversight of himself, does he not?
I’m thinking that the Uvalde City Council position isn’t full time with a nice salary and benefits.

Another place where public service has come to mean that the public exists to service its servants.
No surprise here. This is what public school does. A principal or superintendent will come into a school district and cause a disaster, and then move on to work for another one. It’s almost like they hire them with no questions asked. It happens so frequently that public school people have a name for it. It’s called: “Passing the trash.”
I have no doubt that it happens just as frequently in other public entities.

I read an article that said she didn't leave the door propped open after returning. Supposedly the door failed to latch and lock properly.
