The judge gave very specific directions. They seemed to apply to the law.

It is very rare for the prosecution to appeal a loss in a criminal case, but possible if the issue legal rather than factual. I didn't follow the case closely, but there were issues with the jury that was seated having Hillary contributors on it. I believe that could be appealed, and possibly retried.

Sure, trying to convict a Clinton Democrat in Washington today is about the same as trying to convict a Southern white man of raping a black woman back in Jim Crow days.
