This story is hard to believe, even in this alternate universe we're all living in now.

If it's accurate, then shame on all the parents who will continue to send their children to this school.

But, I question the accuracy because of statements like this one:

The article notes that according to the Illinois State Board of Education, 38 percent of sophomores fail the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

No one "fails" or "passes" the SAT. Your score is either high, low, or average.

Plus, sophomores are taking their first attempt. Most students take the SAT again in their junior year.

If you write “*&^% off white honky” on the test and then storm out of the testing room that probably is “failing” the test...
