Our local school did something similar. When my daughter was in 5th grade, and in the ‘Gifted and Talented’ program, there apparently weren’t enough darker skinned kid members. On threat of lawsuit, the school raised the requirements for white kids and lowered them for minorities. My daughter got booted. Due to this, and to compensate for her distress, she was homeschooling until graduation.
Where was her’s and other’s “PRIVILEGE”!?
I believe that is called institutional racism.

My brother’s public university is overrun (his term) by foreigners because, he says, they pay very high tuition and the administration loves them.

I bet that back in the bad old days of segregated school systems black schools had higher academic standards then the ‘de facto’ black schools that exist now. The segregated black schools may have poor facilities, but I bet they expected more performance out of the students then now!

In the City State schools the only thing that really matters is that teachers are payed.

This just hurts hard-working, smart people of color. When I have a black doctor, I think, did he get into med school because he was black, or because he was truly brilliant.
They should be the ones angry over this discrimination.

Even if a student leaves every question blank, or if he answers every question wrong, he still gets 200 points per section (400 total), just for writing his name on the paper and handing it in. It’s been scored that way for a long time.
YES. Particularly at the top schools. Undergraduates from India, China, Korea, etc... pay full tuition. These are also nearly exclusively children of very wealthy people. The US Ivy's are skimming the foreign kids who are both smart, and their parents are rich. I see more than a few of these kids driving lamborghini's, mercedes G550's, etc...
On the post-graduate/pHD side, often where tuitions and research are paid by government or private grants, you also see very many South and East Asian candidates. At the post-graduate level, its less about the money, but more about the intense study and years of work to get the the highest levels in this field. Again, America's top universities are skimming many of the brightest engineering and tech people from India and China. The American kids seem to end up in law school or on Wall Street.
For China certainly, its a pipeline for stolen R&D going to Chinese state companies.
So can I assume dems are once again telling us that the wypipo are the absolute supremiest?
Having dealt with many of these Chicago students I would say the system has been doing this for several decades.
They don’t need to have their marks artificially raised. They will get AA jobs based on their race. Once they have the job they cannot be fired.
They already get benefits based on race. We are heading for a society with two castes. One caste has to study, pass exams, pay bills, qualify for jobs, get fired for non-performance, pay taxes, pay for merchandise and be attacked on the street and beaten to a pulp.
The other caste doesn’t have to study because it’s admitted to college automatically. It doesn’t have to pass exams - it just has to take them in order to pass. It doesn’t have to pay bills. It gets jobs without being qualified. It can’t be fired. It can walk out of a store with goods and not pay. It will get free money just for being the right race. It can attack the other caste and will be set free if it claims the other caste said a racist word. And in spite of all its privileges, it hates the other caste because it knows that it is a failure.

Our local public university had a program offering advanced math and science courses to gifted high school kids. It was completely funded by the state and private alumni donations. All the local high school administrators had to do was advertise the program to rising 7th graders, and adjust those accepted students schedule and transcript to allow for these outside courses.
Less for racism, and more because our teachers union admin staff were fat, lazy, idiot Karens - their solution was "stop telling parents and kids about the program"
Over the weekend I watch parts of Band of Brothers and Grant. These brave men fought......for this???
