Chicago High School to Implement Race-Based Grading System

A high school in a Chicago is implementing a race-based grading system “to adjust classroom grading scales to account for skin color or ethnicity of its students.”

The move is necessary, advocates say, because “traditional grading practices perpetuate inequities,” a slide used in a presentation said. Students, depending on their race, will not be held accountable for missing class, misbehaving in school, or for failing to turn in assignments.

Our local school did something similar. When my daughter was in 5th grade, and in the ‘Gifted and Talented’ program, there apparently weren’t enough darker skinned kid members. On threat of lawsuit, the school raised the requirements for white kids and lowered them for minorities. My daughter got booted. Due to this, and to compensate for her distress, she was homeschooling until graduation.

One of my co-workers owned a home in the high end community of Scripps Ranch (north San Diego). There were so many children of illegals in the school that her daughter was sitting in a desk in the hallway. She was paying enormous taxes to support the school. Most of the parents of the other kids were not. She had to pull her daughter and pay for private schooling (no subsidy from the school district...still paying full rate to educate the children of illegals).

skill set?....most jobs require little "skill sets" because most jobs are pushing paper....

look at all the incompetent's in bureaucracy....especially the federal govt..

this is what will happen....these idiot "students" who don't go to school and don't do homework will get automatically pushed to the top of the class, earn scholarships because of their "good" grades, graduate with meaningless college degrees and go get a govt job where the level of competency will continue to deteriorate....

and we will have to endure it because we will have no other choice....

Particularly true for the STEM graduate students the professors can treat them like servants. The foreign students don’t complain because it’s a cultural norm to them.

Companies and the US Gov have created requirements to sit for certification exams from outside vendors. Proctored exams. To qualify for a position, you have to bring the correct and current certs with your application. The cert exams give no preferences.

The article notes that according to the Illinois State Board of Education, 38 percent of sophomores fail the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The failure rate was 77 percent for black students, 49 percent for Hispanic students, 27 percent for Asian students, and 25 percent for white students.

Easy. Give all black and brown kids perfect scores. On all tests. AND don't put them under the stress of attending classes. Problem fixed.(Oh, and pay the teachers and administrators the SAME as if black and brown kids were coming to class) Of course this hurts black and brown kids who want to have a decent life - but the plan allows white liberal 'elties' and the black underclass to 'feel good'...

Home-schooled students will, as business owners, be the future employers of most of the working people.

Now, these students will never be employable, but instead will be the permanent under-class who will forever need to be supported by tax dollars. With IQs of around 75 to 80, they will live to eat, fight, and breed, while doing both legal and illegal drugs. What a disservice to these students. Some could at least be taught how to perform the basics at some type of employment. How pitiful to resign them to such a future of despair!
