That was dumb.
Couldn't be that confidential, because here we are hearing about it. Sounds to me like propaganda leaked on purpose for propaganda purposes.

On the Southern Front , on the border of the Kherson and Nikolaev regions, it is not boring now. The front came to life, the third day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is trying to counterattack. As we wrote earlier, the first two attempts were a complete fiasco. Attacking the forelock warriors does not work, if we have almost no losses, then the enemy has losses of about a battalion. Today’s attack is being carried out near Snegirevka by the forces of one battalion tactical group with the support of artillery, we will find out how this adventure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will end tomorrow.

LoL, I was reading in a UK tabloid the M16 says “Putin might be dead, and that guy passed off as Putin is a body double” story, and Christopher Steele was mentioned as an “analyst”.
The Daily Mail is so extreme-propaganda, that if Russia surrounded the entire Ukraine army and took them prisoner, the headline would be:
CRAFTY UKRAINIAN GENERALS FIND WAY TO MAKE RUSSIA PAY FOR FOOD AND LODGING FOR UKRAINIAN TROOPS
Move is intended to strain Russian economy to point of collapse
Ukraine launched attacks around Izyum, Temyrivka toward Lyubymivka, and north of Popasna south east of Sievierodonetsk. Russia broke Ukrainian lines and seized part of north Sievierodonetsk which is likely to fall soon. There was fighting around Kherson.
Instead of reporting the news, Daily Mail is hell bent on cheer leading for Ukraine and under reporting events so much they are making understanding what is happening more confusing.

Is Putin still alive?
There were actually three attacks on Kherson over the last several days.
The first was to test water by the battalion-sized forces which was almost completely annihilated without any Russian losses.
The second attempt was on Sunday night with three times the above force. They were slightly mauled by aviation and disorderly retreated due to high morale produced by the first incident.
Yesterday they tried another attack, the results I am yet to know but likely around the same lines.
That said, I agree. The Daily Mail contains pure fantasy and propaganda.

I just wanted to point out that we do agree on one point; that reading the Daily Mail is worse than being completely uninformed.

I find it almost amusing that the supposedly mighty and invincible Russian armed forces cannot walk over Ukraine easily.
