I like your plan. Yes indeed. Let’s send more arms to Ukraine. And then in typical US fashion, let’s send military advisers. Next comes troops. Boots on the ground.

Oh yes. Your plan is foolproof.

Just exactly the same plan we followed as we got into Vietnam and Afghanistan.

Give Ukraine more long range artillery with a greater reach than Russian artillery has. And more drones. Lots more drones. More anti-ship missiles.

Let’s deplete the entire Russian military if Putin continues to refuse to pull out.

How can you understand so little about the region and yet call for expanding this border war?

But not a word about our open borders here in America.... he must be over there collecting his part of the $40 billion.

We might have done that in Vietnam, but we went into Afghanistan because we were attacked on 9/11.

We don’t need to send military advisers to advise them in an age of secure telecommunications. We’ve been advising them.

Troops will only be necessary if Ukraine can’t hold them with our weapons. If necessary, I think Poland, US and France would be willing to send troops. Germany would too once the rest of us did.

I seriously doubt it goes that far. I don’t think Russia can hold out and continue sustaining these losses. They are near filing bankruptcy. They want to pay their creditors in worthless monopoly money instead of the currencies agreed upon when the debt was issued. Russia is now begging for people of all ages to join the military.

If Russia is going to nuke anyone it is going to be the USA. They’re well aware of who they’re fighting.

You do realize that Pakistan is the one that harbored Bin Ladin, and had more to do with 9/11 than Afghanistan, right?

And after paying them a visit and settling a score that needed to be settled - as an example to all the others - we decided to stay and try to fix the place. Never seems to work out too well for us.

Eventually Pakistan did harbor Bin Ladin, but we believed Afghanistan was harboring him at the time. And Afghanistan didn’t deny that, instead they were defiant.

Musharraf wisely chose to cooperate with the U.S., or Pakistan would have been first on the list.
