Your propaganda also is also 24 hours old, as I believe the Russians are no longer claiming they they "destroyed" the Ukrainian offensive. They are now claiming that they are counterattacking those towns. IOW, this would not be possible if the Ukrainians did not succeed.

Unless Russia uses nukes, the ending is indeed not in doubt. Ukraine is still assembling its reserves and none of Russia's current possessions can be held on the long term. Ukraine's forces will actually outnumber Russian forces by a large ratio by August at the latest, but most likely sooner. Meanwhile, Russia's concentrated attack is already losing steam despite the jerk-off session enjoyed by the Putinists on this forum with articles like this.
There has been a strange shift, beginning with the New York Times, then moving to Kissinger and the rest of the media, attempting to change public opinion about what is going on in the war. It is not a united effort, as there are still large portions of the media in disagreement. The hope of this appeasement brigade is that Russia, which has finally concentrated forces for a singular goal, will finally take the final city in Luhansk (note: Donbass itself is still not taken), which can then be used to force Ukraine into a new Minsk agreement and giving up land.
This is something desperately wanted by the Germans who, despite promises to the contrary, have not delivered to Ukraine any (or very little) support since March. France is also desperate to return to business as usual with the Russkies.
None of this noise, however, changes the objective view of the ground. The same shitty Russian forces that were more successful in gang raping little boys than taking territory is doomed to fail in the East. They simply do not have the forces or the armor to do it after losing more than a thousand of their modern tanks. Even if they take the last city in Luhansk, which they are already showing signs that they cannot, they cannot hold it on the long term.
It is simply impossible, no matter what Kissinger says, or the pedophile Scott Ritter, or that slob Cuban or Brazilian or whatever the hell he is, or Larry the "CIA analyst" who has spent 30 years promoting BS conspiracy theories, including denying that Al-Qaeda was a threat 2 months before the 9/11 terror attacks.
I would urge FReepers to take an objective look at their information and where they get it, using as many different sources as possible, instead of just regurgitating what they hear from literally the dumbest and most worthless people possible.

Ukraine lost this war on day one. Yes, I am sure the russians made mistakes and the ukrainians had some victories but there was never a doubt the russians would wear down and slowly destroy the weak ukrainian military.

I've been seeking out alternative news/views on this situation and some seems very level headed and tend to make sense but the truth is, when there are two opposing truths and I'm not in Ukraine, I have no way to be sure. Some things I've read have seemed way too pro Russia. The MSM seems to have gone overboard with pro Ukraine views. I figure the truth is somewhere in between.
The only thing I know for sure is that most of that $40 billion, will not be going to good use because I do know my own country's government.
