Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) got into a fiery argument with a “Fox News Sunday” guest host over the 2020 presidential election, which Brooks repeatedly claimed was stolen and riddled with fraud.
When Brooks pressed his claims of voter fraud and pushed for tighter election laws, guest host Sandra Smith countered that effort after effort had failed in court to prove the 2020 election was stolen from former President Trump.
“The congressmen and senators disagree with you, with what you just said,” Brooks told her. “Elections are going to be stolen if we don’t fix these problems.”
Smith and Brooks then talked over each other before the Alabama lawmaker told the journalist, “You just made a false statement.”
“The courts are not the final arbiter of who wins federal election contests,” he said before citing unproved allegations and discussing a controversial film about the 2020 election, “2000 Mules.”
“And that has been looked at and fact-checked by multiple outlets, including Reuters, who have [reported] there isn’t any proof that there was widespread voter fraud,” Smith rebutted.
Brooks is fighting off a Republican challenger in a tight Senate primary race headed to a runoff after he lost the endorsement and backing of Trump. Brooks lost the support of the former president after saying the GOP should move on from the 2020 election.
Brooks was also one of several GOP lawmakers who were said to be subpoenaed by the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, but on Sunday the congressman said he has not been served yet.
Fix News was in on the Big Steal.
Their employees are under orders to maintain the narrative that the election was fair.
Fox News the establish media, promoting lies, propaganda 22 hours per day, and ignoring other truths 2 hours per day.
I can’t stand that lispy hag.......FauxSnooze is dead to me
He believes the election was stolen but wants us to ‘move on’? No wonder he lost Trump’s endorsement . You can’t just ‘move on’ from a crime that gives the criminals responsible access to the pockets of everyone in America !
Pigs LIKE to wrestle in the mud...
Remember Election Night 2020 - the supposed “Election Desk” at Fox News predicted Biden would “win” Arizona early on. Even with widespread fraud, he “won” by less than one-half of one percent of the vote in the State; no prognosticator could find that. Second, the same biased “expert” predicted the Dems would hold the House and substantially expand their majority - they lost a good 15 seats and a switch of four would have given the Rs the House Majority. Something is rotten in Denmark and I suspect it is the leftwing Murdoch son with the screamer wife who donates tens of millions to leftist organizations, including that protector of pedophilia, the Lincoln Project.
“failed in court to prove the 2020 election”
Because no court will even hear the cases.
“The Hill” doing their usual far left propaganda? Yup.
Who the heck is Sandra Smith ?
A female Chris Wallace?
And when did a Reuters “fact check” ever amount to anything?
They always use that caveat “widespread”, yet never define it. It didn’t have to be widespread. Just 5 major cities targeted.
Sandra Smith learned how to moderate, and interview, from Chris Wallace and Neil Cavuto.
Sandra Smith is no different than Shep Smith.
Faux News rushed to call Arizona for Biden if you recall...
They don’t dare.
I hear you, but I believe it was widespread. I think 'they' even tried to steal Texas. Even in the States that Trump carried, his margin was less than it would have been without the fraud.
But you are correct, the marxists only needed to inflate the margins for Biden in 5-6 counties. And that they did.
“Fix News was in on the Big Steal”.
Watching Bill Hemmer election night was disgusting.
I listen to Waters, Greg and Fox Business. The other Pundits stray too far from the truth.
She always has this weird expression on her face like she’s sitting in a dirty diaper.
Fact checked by Reuters??
Bwahahahaha
