House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband was arrested for driving under the influence in Napa County, Calif., according to news reports.
Paul Pelosi, 82, was arrested before midnight on Saturday in Napa County and was sent to jail for driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher, according to TMZ which first reported the news.
Both are misdemeanor charges.
TMZ also reported that his bail was set for $5,000.
The news come as Nancy Pelosi was scheduled to receive an honorary degree and give the commencement address at Brown University in Rhode Island on Sunday.
Nancy Pelosi has not yet addressed her husband’s arrest. However, her spokesman, Drew Hammill said, “the Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”
Paul Pelosi is an investor who runs a San Francisco-based venture capital company. The two own a vineyard in Napa Valley. They met at Georgetown University and have been married since 1963.
Oh, Balls! You don’t know what you’re talking about (as usual) Why don’t you drink a six in an hour and get behind the wheel, get lit up and see what the cops do
Can we blame someone married to Nancy for drinking if they just promise not to drink and drive? She could drive anyone to drink themselves into a stupor.
Was she in the car ?
Paul Took-His-Wife’s-Last-Name Got some really good heads ups on stocks and got rich. Sometimes called insider trading.
I’ll never understand these people worth hundreds of millions to billions of dollars not having personal drivers, especially when your 82 years old.
Hey, dumbass, I did not say that six beers in an hour wouldn't put you over the limit. I said four light beers consumed by an average-sized man wouldn't put him over the limit. That was in response to your ridiculous post that half a light beer would put him over.
Tomorrow when you sober up (if you do) google "BAC calculator" and input the information into some or all of the many calculators that come up. I will be proven right. Of course, I'm sure you think you know way more than the folks whose job it is to prepare those calculators.
Oh, and here's a link that may help you feel better in the morning:
Few news articles mention that Paul Pelosi’s Porsche was involved in a COLLISION with a Jeep. I’d hate to be the driver of the Jeep.

Cars are dangerous. Ban cars.
At 82 years of age, Paul Pelosi is old enough to know better. Presume this is a customary practice.
Or the booze. Isn't it time for Prohibition? It's never been tried.
You are correct. My mistake.
Oh, I expect ke knows better when he’s sober. When he’s drinking he doesn’t know much of anything.
Re: Traffic deaths....
If these numbers are accurate:
“In 2020, 11,654 people died in alcohol-impaired driving traffic deaths — a 14% increase from 2019. These deaths were all preventable.”
