STATE WATCH These three Democrat-led states are pushing ahead on gun control BY MONIQUE BEALS - 05/29/22 5:57 PM ET SHARE TWEET ... MORE

Democratic Govs. Gavin Newsom (Calif.), Kathy Hochul (N.Y) and Phil Murphy (N.J.). AP photos/Eric Risberg-Mary Altaffer-Wayne Parry Three Democratic-led states — California, New York and New Jersey — have pressed forward with gun reform legislation in the wake of the deadly shooting in Uvalde, Texas that left 19 children and two adults dead.

The state action comes as Democrats in Congress eye votes on measures including a federal red-flag law and expanded background checks, however doubts remain over possible Republican cooperation.

In California, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced on Wednesday, just one day after the Texas shooting, that the state would “expedite commonsense gun safety laws that will protect people from gun violence.”

And Democrat run states have so few gun problems, it’s obvious that we should bend over an assume the Dorkbama position for them, right?

Every mass shooting it’s the same. The same handful of the bluest states in the country that already have the most stringent gun control laws of any states push more gun control, red rural states make theirs more lax, the federal government does nothing. Been this routine for quite a while now.

“common sense gun laws” = As much of your liberty as can be expropriated from you at this time.

Communist states will continue to disarm their populations until they are restrained from doing so.
The Supreme Court has been dithering on this issue for decades.

You know you have “commons sense gun control laws” when they start locking people up in concentration camps. They’ve already started with the January Piss on Pelosi Sixers crowd.

Won’t work. Criminals ignore laws, even new ones.

School teachers at this school were negligent.

The outside door was to remain closed and locked.

It was propped open by a teacher.

The doors to the classrooms were to be closed.

They were open to the classrooms the murderer went in to.

The Democrats don’t want to have any conversation about any possible solutions but more gun control.

Why is that?

It’s because they don’t really care about solving the problem.

The Democrats just want to be sure Republicans can’t defend themselves.

Anything California does, Colorado does. We have been inundated with coastal tapeworms. They kill the host and go looking for another one. Man-bun, latte-sipping, Starbucks laptop tappers. And that’s just the men. OK, I’m better now.

I think it’s time for mandatory ownership of full-automatic firearms and Javelin man-portable anti-tank missiles.

There aren’t anymore common sense gun regulations to implement because they’ve already been passed by politicians in the past.

The democrats want campaign issues like this to distract from their incompetence.

So you can add “the Republicans don’t care about murdered children” to the democrats BS list, that says:

Republicans are racist, sexist, homophobic, environment destroyers, who won’t do anything to stop mass shootings.

I would like to see the effectiveness of current laws debated and someone defend why they shouldn’t be repealed if they’re not working.
