... well lo and behold, there’s now an equally timed incident under questionable circumstances regarding the other key issue in time to pressure the Court and stir up the leftist crazies on firearms.
This behavior has only proven to me that the Federal government is not responsible enough to be trusted with any authority in either matter.
They must be talking about the Roe decision.
They want the guns of the law-abiding citizens because they have some pretty bad ideas they want to force on us. They don't want us to be able to resist their agenda. It has nothing to do with the safety of children no matter how many times they lie about it. If they were really concerned about child safety, they would encourage the teaching of moral values (they prevent that in the public schools - I know, I was there for MANY years), stop the murderous online and other video games and monitor social media for violent dialogue and/or eliminate it altogether. They only go after folks on social media who DISAGREE with them. They let everything that furthers their agenda continue to function.
We are definitely in a war, it's just not with guns or actual weapons yet. The danger is at the breaking point and too many people do not see it coming. When the mom of that murderer in Uvalde was quoted as saying "He had his reasons." we HAVE to know we have EXTREME societal problems. If not fixed, an invading nation will fix it for us...by killing almost everyone here.
The blood is on the hands of the left wing politicians and activists who insist on blanket permission to murder our most vulnerable.

Quite aside from ignoring the original intent of the Second Amendment and subsequent supporting federal legislation, the editorial author willfully subjects the words “well regulated” to misinterpretation.
The author implies the only permissible meaning of “regulated” is the modern one - control by an agency of the federal government by an administrative agency granted the force of law.
In the 1780s, such a meaning was literally unthinkable to Americans.
“Well regulated” referred to a militia that was trained to execute the tactics and other duties of military activity then current. And to their weapons & accouterments: arms of “regular” configuration and caliber, bayonets, cartridge boxes, uniforms, haversacks, tents, etc. Much more important in those days before industrial standardization and series manufacture.
Back then, it did not occur to anyone that the language could change so radically. Nor did they imagine that it would be subjected to such deliberate degradation, perpetrated by the Left.
