Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise address at the funeral for a victim of the Buffalo, N.Y., supermarket shooting on Saturday, saying such violent acts will not stop America from speaking out.
“I think we all know that a true measure of strength is not based on who you beat down. It’s based on who you lift up,” Harris said at the funeral for victim Geraldine Chapman Talley.

I’m going to say that it would be good if she went but didn’t speak. Leaders may show up to a funeral in this situation for moral support, but unless you know a victim and will give a pure eulogy, don’t give a speech.
When there are black victims involved in a mass incident as in Buffalo there are no shortage of Democrat pols showing up and grandstanding at their funerals. It’s absolutely sickening the patronizing attitudes that the Democrat Party has for blacks, but if they keep voting nearly ninety percent for them in every election cycle why should elected Democrats change their tune?
Has she bailed out the shooter yet? She’s bailed out all of the other criminals.

The measure of strength is not based on who you beat off, it’s based on who you can lift up?? What does this mean?? We want to uplift people? How? In what way? Isn’t this a meaningless piece of pablum? Who would disagree with uplifting people, just as a general statement? But what does that even mean? In this context of a massacre, what does it mean?
