On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Don Lemon Tonight,” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) argued that it has been proven that if a shooter “has weapons of war, and has the unbelievable automatic weapon,” then a law-abiding citizen with a gun responding “doesn’t work.”
Jackson Lee said, “We have no universal background checks here in the United States or Texas. And so, right in my district, in the NRA convention, they were selling guns without background checks at the private gun shows. They don’t care about domestic abuse. They don’t care about intervention on violence, no laws. And they don’t have any red flag laws and they certainly have not banned assault weapons. So, what I would say is that our state is a partner in the massacres that have occurred, from El Paso, to the church, to now this devastating blow to America’s own dignity. Because they have let down their people. And I, for one, will not tolerate this exhausting and poor response, which includes Donald Trump’s absolutely absurd comment that what you need when you see guns is a good guy with a gun. Well, I will tell you that it’s evidenced that if that perpetrator has weapons of war, and has the unbelievable automatic weapon, it doesn’t work.”

That, upon further research, is actually her constituency office so my above post is in error, my bad. However, if one has seen Maxine Waters’ house (which is not even in the district she represents IIRC), I bet this lady’s real house is none too shabby either.

Maybe the Good Guy needs a ‘Weapon of War’, as you put it, to counter-act the war being perpetrated on Americans right now! And to protect ourselves and families from the criminals/gangs that you so lovely care about, and will still have weapons of many kinds.
There was a story the other day about a woman with handgun stopping an active shooter who had an AR.
They keep using this “weapons of war” BS because some rat court came with the term when they upheld a gun control law a few years ago. The MSM/rat machine thinks that is the key to hobbling the 2A

1. Sheila Jackson Lee is a parasite, a mental defective and a chronic liar.
2. The 1997 North Hollywood Bank Robbery was staged by bad guys carrying illegally-converted full-auto AK-47s, wearing homemade Kevlar body armor with trauma plates and hopped up on phenobarbital, but policed armed pretty much with nothing but handguns stopped them anyway.
Correction, one of the illegally-converted rifles was an AK pattern and the other was a Bushmaster AR-pattern rifle.
