One Seattle, Washington, resident angry over the lawlessness that continues to plague his hometown has decided to turn one of his hobbies into a crime-fighting apparatus.
Tony, a 39-year-old husband and father who recently had his car broken into and his trailer stolen, now uses his drone to help others recover their stolen property, KCPQ-TV reported.
"People who steal from other people I feel are some of the worst scum on the planet. I hate them," Tony told the news outlet in a recent interview. "If I can do anything to stop them, or help people who have been victims, I'd like to be a part of that."
Recent Seattle data shows that more than 2,000 cars have been stolen in the city since the start of the year, and other burglaries and thefts total more than 13,000.
Disgusted with the rampant crime, Tony began searching for ways to locate his own property. That's when he stumbled upon a helpful Facebook group called "PNW Stolen Cars," a forum where auto theft victims can share information about their stolen property in hopes of recovering it.

We’re basically on our own.
A witness saw it - said it was somebody driving an old
Plymouth Volare', but didn't get the plate number.
This was 28 years ago.
What's the statute of limitations on something like this?
This guy probably can't help me.
LOL
After police fail, next stop vigilante squads. It becomes a war for civilization. 3-7-77
I heard seven years and you are out of luck...
This guy will turn into Batman soon
People seek justice. Eventually, if the cops and courts fail some people adopt a DIY approach. This is when society breaks.
We have a duty to demand cops, DAs and judges perform.
For at least 78 minutes, if not longer...
Yes, this made me think that maybe the ‘community’ should go in & clear out that bridge area. Our police force seems to be just about useless these days.

Yet he lives in a city that openly encourages stealing. WTH is wrong with him? He probably voted for and supports a man who stole the presidential election.
Even when you have cops that are “working”, they’re useless when kids are being killed; see “Uvalde”.
Was he arrested for theft while, the original their complained of being traumaatized and was let go by the police?
You didn't search for the thief? I wouldn't think a Volare pulling a 25' flatbed could drive much faster than walking speed.
I once lived in Hobbs. Don’t go back. Your trailer is probably still in fine shape.
I had a pretty high-paying consulting job waiting for me in Phoenix -
and I was already late.
Help Me Batman!
(LOL)
I don't see any reason why I would, really...
It’s only a matter of time until someone labels him some sort of “ist” or “phobe” and the police will stop acting on his tips. (In the name of social justice don’t cha know?)
They will go after him for flying his drone where he shouldn’t, and if he doesn’t have his Part 107 license, the FAA will nail him.
The Volare could be ordered with a 360 pursuit package that included a 4 barrel carb and a sure grip diff. They went pretty good
