IS Ukraine LOSING the war in Donbas? Defenders fall back to avoid capture as Russians advance after blasting towns to wastelands while Boris Johnson offers fresh support to Ukrainian president Zelensky Withdrawal from the Luhansk region likely, admits Ukraine in new war blow

Area is hugely significant and one of main aims of Putin and Russia's invasion President Zelensky said Ukraine was protecting Luhansk as best it could Putin had launched invasion under the aims of capturing Luhansk and Donetsk Boris Johnson offered renewed support for Ukraine in a phone call with Zelensky

Ukraine has admitted it may have to retreat from its last post in the Luhansk region as Russian forces continue their relentless march.

Putin's forces - now into their fourth month of the invasion - have concentrated on the east of the country in recent weeks.

Ukrainian soldiers leaving Luhansk will be a blow to the country, due to its symbolic significance in the war.

This morning Boris Johnson offered fresh support to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky said they spoke on the phone about 'strengthening defence support for Ukraine, intensifying work on security guarantees and supplying fuel'.

He added: 'We must work together to prevent a food crisis and unblock Ukrainian ports.'

Putin wants both Luhansk and Donetsk regions in full and their capture was one of his earliest objectives in the deranged despot's so-called 'special military operation'.

A large percentage of the Republican officeholders hate the Republican grassroots.

They started this.

They own it now.

Why not liberate you’re own shithole country?

Good idea...I suggest you stop whining about Eastern Europe and take it.

The oligarchs created this war to cause a humanitarian crisis to push the new world order agenda. The Deep State and other globalists are happy to comply as they will get rich while the global middle class gets wiped out.

A two class society, Soviet style.

There is heavy fighting for the city of Severodonetsk. The Russians haven’t taken it. The Russians are using their “flamethrower” weapons (thermobaric bombs) and other weapons to kill and terrorize Ukrainians.

McCain is long gone, and Graham is not so relevant. I still use RINO when talking about people like them, but, there has to be a better term for them. Romney, for example, is way left of RINOs.

So when it’s all over, Russia will control vast wastelands of a part of Ukraine’s territory? That’s a ‘victory’ that will take decades to repair.

Not to worry. Our betters in Washington are working on a "Marshall Plan" to send hundreds of $$billions to rebuild.

I advise you take information from The Institute for the Study of War with a few grains of salt. This private think tank was started and is run by Victoria Nuland’s family. Nuland of the State Department has been actively meddling in the Ukraine for years. Another member is the CEO of the company which provides humvees to the US military. The information might be accurate but there seems to be significant conflicts of interest there too.

A large percentage of the Republican officeholders hate the Republican grassroots.

True, and they intentionally deceive and abuse those wholesome grassroots Americans.

Our leaders keep prodding the Russian bear with advancing NATOs borders til the bear bit.

And NATO expansion couldn’t possibly be the result of those countries’ experience with Russian occupation and oppression and a desire to avoid that in the future, right?

I think it’s comparable to this hypothetical situation:
* Nazis have taken over a significant part of a Mexican government, which is known to be the most corrupt in the world
* That government has heavy Russian backing and installed their puppet president (inserted thru their proxy coup)
* Mexico wages a 7-year war on a couple provinces that are loyal to America, and that want to go independent from Mexico; over 3,000 civilians are killed, nearly all within those provinces
* Mexico breaks 2 peace agreements in this time
* Mexico is threatening to join a defense agreement with Russia

What do think the US would do?

For months I’ve been hearing nothing but the “defeat” of the Russians. Now over the course of 2 days the entire narrative has 180’d. Seems we’ve been lied to.

Yep, it comes through rather clear on this site, when they DEMAND that we join with the Neocons and Democrats and try to get WW3 going.

There are 15,000 encircled Ukrainian soldiers there. They probably represent the remaining bulk of the Ukrainian professional army.

"Neocon"

The term was invented to describe Democrats that left the Democrat party during the time of McGovern or when the Democrat party became the peace party in the Vietnam era. (The Republican party was the traditional peace party, Republicans get us out of wars started by Democrats.)

Anyway the neocons invaded the Republican party and the stupid republicans allowed them to take over beginning with Bush 1. Finally with Trump we managed to regain control of the GOP and push the Bushbot neocons out of power in the GOP but it appears they have a big voice with the illegitimate occupier at the White House.

If some of us appear to favor Russia in this Ukraine-Russia war it is not because we like Russia, it is because we view the war as one between the nationalists (Russia) and globalists (Ukraine) and we are nationalists who are not interested in a great reset/NWO.

That maybe true too but we made certain claims after the cold war ended that NATO wouldn’t expand to the former Warsaw pact nations, allowing for a buffer zone for both sides which seemed reasonable after all the nuclear war standoffs.

But we couldn’t resist and started inching towards the Russian border ever since, much against our own national interests.
