Texas Department Public Safety spokesman Lt. Christopher Olivarez confirmed to a reporter during a live shot that police officers went into Robb Elementary School to get their own children during the massacre.
Amid outrage over reports that frantic families who complained about police inaction during the massacre were held back by police, a clip of a live interview with Olivarez from Tuesday has gone viral.

The media is not interested in facts, especially if the situation involves the police. That being said, if what's being reported turns out to be true, a lot of law enforcement folks in Uvalde need to lose their jobs and their pensions.
There were apparently enough cops there to keep other people from intervening but apparently not enough to do anything about the shooter.
There was a report that a US Marshal handcuffed a mother who was demanding they do something and police tazed a father that tried to take his son off of a bus to get him home.
Seems line “long gone” is about right. This bunch looks like the grand kids of the buttdraggers than Sam Houston beat awhile back? Take away their rifles, give them a weeks rations, and send them back.
Kind of smells that way. Nothing at this point would surprise me. Sad state of affairs the Democrats have foisted upon this country.

In every county in the country the county Sheriff, being the top elected law officer, has jurisdiction. No fed has authority to do much except bathroom breaks if the sheriff says no. So just where the bleep was Roscoe P. Coltrain all this time?

Bannon and Bernie Kerik covered this in the 5:00 War Room show tonight. According to Kerik, it was 90 minutes. He said the cops were well prepared to handle the situation with the gear they were wearing and the weapons they had. They waited for SWAT, but didn’t have to. And parents were telling the cops to give them the gear and weapons so they could go in and do the job for the cops.
And we thought Beto was crazy for attacking Governor Abbot at yesterday's press conference.
Just like us getting blindsided by the left and that Sandra Fluke slut in 2012, the Dems will take full advantage of Uvalde to most likely dupe the ever gullible suburban women into handing Texas, and the Country over to permanent Democrat control this fall ..
