He’s just now noticing something that has been evident since the late 90s?
Shooters almost always have absent dads, disrupted nuclear families, and mood-controlling drugs.
But that’s not the narrative.
People who murder have little regard for life in general. Mass murders want the attention.
I admittedly spend a lot of time staring at a screen.
But I’m pretty well stable, a retired old man.
I do know this I was heading into never land as a Kid, and my Dad re-entered the picture and I got jerked back into reality.
That is the fix - two normal parents a man and a women.
even if they are screwups the kids are better off most times.
Well, prescribed drugs may be some of it, however, I think the loss of respect for life plays a much bigger role. That babies can be killed either in the womb or shortly after delivery plays a big role in that also. Put the Lord back into the public square, immediately.
He’s right leftism has infected America for 100 years.
The ‘mental instability’ is primarily caused by a morally bankrupt social media AND a constant Democrat blame onslaught against morals, tradition and law - targeted at hateful conservative ‘terrorists.’
A couple other things that are different from when we were kids - half of them are diagnosed with ADHD and put on powerful psychotropic drugs. They have no idea what that stuff does but they give it out like candy.
And when I was a kid if we wanted porn, the closest we could get was looking at the underwear section of a Sears catalog and use our imagination. Now, the porn kids can watch is beyond the pale.

It’s a complicated answer but a lot of it is due to intense media cover with every Joe and Karen commenting in social media. With that kind of attention, we are only encouraging copycats. So we should shut up. Just my two cents

The Covid vaxxes and boosters have made this all worse. Across America, brains have been degraded by them. Zoom remotes and working from home.... How many Gov’t workers are still faking it by working from home? I am talking county, state and Federal.
How does downtown Washington, DC look these days during the Monday-Friday workweek? Are the throngs of Federal workers out at noontime getting lunch etc? I DOUBT IT! — But you tell me.
Why should federal government employees report to work? They collect a salary and "F U" (to the taxpaying public).
A prescribed psychoactive drug has a range of effects AND side effects. Mosdt who take them have effects which help or do not alter their moral base. HOWEVER, some who use these drugs get the wierd side effects. Two of those type murdered people, real people this week. Not one of those children slaughtered by Romas was a human being to the dead soul within that boy. Take God out of the society, make slaughtering the most innocent HUMAN BEINGS a’right’, and there are real consequences with the deadness inside such evil promotes.

I used to live in DC area but anyway maybe one of our DC Freepers can give us a report. But I know federal government is trying to get workers to return to office. No luck. So it's probably 25% of what it used to be. Just a guess though.
