That’s the strangest part of the story. It was not the front door to the school. It was a fire escape door that is supposed to open from the inside and not the outside.

Adults are no different. In the place I worked for 15 years, trip wires were all over the place. All the girls in the department made open season on me.

One of his classmates said he was the provocateur of the alleged bullying. A coworker said he had an aggressive streak especially toward females and also sent inappropriate texts to them.

In my county in Florida and in a number of other Florida counties it is advertised and publicly known that staff and teachers in every public school may be armed and that at least one and likely more in every school are, indeed, armed. The bomb and shoot threats that up to a couple of years ago were periodically placed against schools have disappeared. No one makes those threats anymore.
