Disagree. I took them. They are a way of establishing a minimum level of proficiency statewide. And you can receive a scholarship based on your performance on the tests. I didn’t use mine because I didn’t attend a school in NY.
.
What an awful experience!
Were you sick, or was it due to nerves?
I heard of some girls passing out at their Regents.
Tuition is 7-9,000 now. Full cot f attendance at a SUNY is now 25-30K depending on dorm, meal plan etc. That’s not much more than what is budgeted for NY public school students.
“Were you sick, or was it due to nerves?”
Regular monthly cramps. Normal for me. Puking came before the hallucinations.
Oh Boo-Hoo, snowflakes.
The tests had “already been printed and packaged for shipment to schools,” Rosa said, adding that “it is not possible to produce a test with different content or to make modifications to the developed assessment in the short time period before the administration date.”
“We will work together to ensure that goodness and compassion will always triumph over ignorance and hatred,” the letter added.
So what? How could any recent (to be later historical) event in some local city cause cancelation of regents for the WHOLE state?
All you need to do is read “The Bell Curve” to know why this happened.
The study curriculum focuses on how the initial 10 Amendments speak to independence and liberties. Of course, the Rats running the Regents don’t like that type of thing.
The Country has a nasty Rat infestation.
