Putin ally warns of World War III if West continues aid to Ukraine

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko — Russian President Vladimir Putin’s closest ally — warned Western nations of a coming World War III, unless they stop supplying Ukraine with weapons.

Lukashenko, 68, raised the specter of a global conflict in a letter to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, which was released Monday.

“Belarus calls on the countries of the world to unite and prevent the regional conflict in Europe from escalating into a full-scale world war!” he wrote, according to reporting by Newsweek.

Not when command allows the fragile little daisies to transfer bases at will because they got offended at something trivial

There probably won’t be. It and the Ukraine will be split between Po9land and Russia. Moldava will go back to Romania.

No, because he isn’t nuts, and there are precedents to how proxy wars are done. This is bluster.

True enough. And if he doesn’t get what he wants this time, he’ll try again later, perhaps by supplying the separatists with arms. At that juncture, it’s popcorn time.

People I know who were there. Ever go to Bosnia? You probably believe all the media about the Serbs too. Another person posted some links. Go have some reading fun. Your narrow mind is showing and I wish you the best of luck in coming festivities.

You bet. I just randomly made up stuff. Nah. Hopefully God will show the world what Ukraine has done to Ukrainians and that the killing can stop.

Putin should stop being the Russian animal he is and stop
Invading and pillaging sovereign countries. My ancestors fought several wars with Russian imperialist dogs and they have not changed.

Ukraine shouldn’t of kept poking the bear. It’s a two way street. Zelensky is a NWO puppet though and just following orders.

That’s true.

My point is that people better be just fine with that happening (our assets such as US Navy ships being targeted) because it is a mistake to assume the Russians are going to react rationally.

They aren’t a democratic state beholden to the will of the population. They are a corrupt and violent oligarchy run by people in constant conflict with each other.

The same people in our country and around the world who are all for active US involvement are the same people who are going to whip us into a state of outrage when one of our Arleigh Burke class gets sunk with loss of life, or a billion dollar AWACS is shot down with a loss of all aboard.

We sure have advanced a lot since June 1914 when Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated and overheated propaganda directed at people back then supposedly “less sophisticated” than us modern people plunged the world into war.

We may be smarter (we think...we have Google after all, right?) and less susceptible to propaganda, but the propaganda that will compel weak-minded people to support military action has become more sophisticated, widespread, and insidiously invasive, so we are still in the same danger of being manipulated into a global war as they were in June 1914.

The consequences of that have the potential of being far, FAR more reaching and catastrophic today than they were in 1914.

“Your narrow mind is showing”

Ad Hominem: attacking an opponent’s character or motives rather than answering the argument or claim

Back to your original claim:
“Ukraine should stop raping and killing in the east.”

Sources please?

Are you being a little narrow minded?

Answering the attack on my character: You assume I am the average American who has never been overseas. I have lived in 7 different countries and visited over 50 for work.

Yes, I remember Bosnia-Herzegovina, had friends who deployed there. They shared many stories with me that took place on both sides. I was part of the Kosovo mission in 1999. I know a little about war zones, not pretty at all. War is hell for a reason.

In the Donbas, Russia occupied 1/3rd of the region in 2014 with covert troops.

Do you, Bulwyf, say that Russia is doing the raping in the two “people’s Republics” that it occupies?

Surprised that Putin has lasted this long, you would think there must be enough sane people in Moscow to deal with a guy who has obviously lost his mind. He probably got a bad medical prognosis and started to think, hell if I’m going, everyone else is going with me.

Maybe those people who might take action are waiting to see if Putin will come to a logical conclusion and retreat to the eastern enclaves, declare a victory of sorts, and leave it at that. Then they can just fade back into the shadows and see if there’s any further madness down the road. But if he keeps up this campaign to take over large parts of Ukraine against the wishes of the vast majority of its people, then sooner or later I would predict he will fall to a coup. I hope it is sooner, this has now dragged on for three months with no winners and all losers.
