UNAIDS has expressed concern that some public reporting and commentary on Monkeypox has used language and imagery, particularly portrayals of LGBTI and African people, that reinforce homophobic and racist stereotypes and exacerbate stigma. Lessons from the AIDS response show that stigma and blame directed at certain groups of people can rapidly undermine outbreak response.

Dear UNAID, Exactly how would stigmatizing the people and behavior which spread monkey puck accelerate its spread?
Thanks in advance.
Speaking of monkeypox, has anyone seen Shemp Smith lately?
If they didn’t want it “stigmatized” they could have called it “happy-pox” or “fun-pox.”
Remember how, a few minutes ago, we were stigmatizing anyone and everyone who contracted COVID without the jab? Oh, THOSE people are ok to stigmatize, I guess.
Didn’t take long for this to happen. It was inevitable they would turn this into a privileged disease.
Lessons from the AIDS response show that stigma and blame directed at certain groups of people can rapidly>>> solve the problem. by expanding the so called risk group from gays to everyone Aids was not stopped because gays continued to carry on.
Same guy running the show Fauci.
How would the Staff know?
We don’t care if they accuse us of stereotyping because the fact is that mostlg, gay people are the ones getting it, not heterosexual in stable marriages (ie not messing around)
[[They are still trying to push the narrative that gay men as a group are no more promiscuous than heterosexual men]]
Many gay people, around 1/3 almost, have an average of 1000 partners/hookups in their lifetime others have hundreds.
Gay butt sex disease is not stigmatizing. It’s fact.
How about this language: Gays should keep their ***** out of Monkey’s a**es!
Like queer, homo, fag, fudge packer???
What about all the MONKEYS who are “stigmatized” by the name “Monkey pox”??
Some people do some things that REAL monkeys will NOT do...
Chickens come from Asia, so chicken pox is out.
The fat, stupid, arrogant martinet woman who worked HR at a place I worked at makes cow pox out, too.
