Another un-dead General for the list.
L
Somehow I think there would have been better candidates to reactivate than a Maj. General.
Like some "Up-or-Out" Captains, for example. (If up-or-out is even a thing in the Russian Air Force.)
He wasn't really retired then but he is now.
We are repeatedly told Russia has air superiority in all of Ukraine, that it can destroy anything in Ukraine, anytime it wishes.
It that were true, it seems very unlikely this could take place.
Retired?
Tragic if true.
Its Tuesday...right on schedule.
They say a lot of people die shortly after going into retirement. ;)
“In the sky over Ukraine, retired Major General of the Russian Air Force Kanamat Botashev was shot down and killed.”
Retired? They must be running low on experienced and qualified pilots if they’re bringing fighter jockeys out of retirement.
It is a sure indicator that Russia is getting desperate.

Meanwhile, the fruits of our labor are being confiscated in the form of taxes and used to empower an evil ideology whose depredations we were promised would "Never Again" occur, a scourge we were told had been wiped from the face of the Earth, but whose adherents have been hiding in plain sight this whole time. And while the shock troops of today's Hitler Youth — Antifa and BLM — tear down the statues of our Founding Fathers and heroes of the Revolutionary War, monuments to war criminals like Stepan Banderas, who murdered 30,000 Ukrainian Jews at Babyn Yar in 1931, are still standing in places like Ellenville, N.Y., and there are streets and national holidays named in his honor. The Nazis of today march under the banners of Azov, Right Sector, Svoboda, and C-14; their bodies are adorned with tattoos of swastikas; and their weapons, uniforms, and salaries are paid for courtesy of the U.S. government and the spineless wannabe globalists who infest D.C.
Airplanes get shot down.
Helicopters get shot down.
Drones get shot down.
Tanks get blown up.
Ships get blown up.
Submarines get sunk.
Humans walking on the battlefield get shot, gassed, burnt up, hit by artillery, hit by arrows and sticks and stones.
The answer to these issues?
Electric cars.
“Russia has lost 28,000 soldiers in three months of war in Ukraine, according to estimates by the DGSE, the French foreign intelligence services, confides an agent. “It’s a real berezina,” adds our source.”
