On the final day of his high-stakes strip to Asia, President Joe Biden urged international leaders in Japan to do more to stop Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and said there would be no change to "strategic ambiguity" on Taiwan, a day after frustrating China when he suggested the U.S. could send troops to the region.

"This is more than just a European issue. It's a global issue," Biden said of the Russia-Ukraine War Tuesday, alongside leaders of Japan, India and Australia.

In his remarks, Biden described the Eastern European war as a "dark hour" in history.

"We’re navigating a dark hour in our shared history," the U.S. president said. "The Russian brutal and unprovoked war against Ukraine...

Maybe Biden IS calling the shots. Perhaps there is no black hand manipulating him. We seem to have a dementia addled foreign policy. The traitors and dip$hits in DC are going to get us all killed.

The war has been going on since 2014....and that would be Obama at the helm. That’s who’s running the show.

Biden gave a one word answer to the question of Taiwan’s defense because he’s incapable of processing complex questions and providing non-committal answers. He looked like a deer in the headlights and froze before blurting out “Yes.”

From the article: “A potential conflict in the East China Sea was not a part of the Quad Summit’s agenda items.”

Looks like Biden tossed the proverbial [brown thing] into the punch bowl at that party.

And his lecture on how Asian leaders should do more to stop the Russian invasion of Ukraine must have gone over like a lead balloon. Many people in Asia consider it a European white people’s war that is benefiting the biggest baddest bully* in their neighborhood, the country that really is aiming for world domination. Many more not amused at rising global food and fuel prices and looming shortages and the grim prospect some of their people may starve.

Asking these people to “do more” against their own self-interest while the war in Ukraine drags on and on and China grows bolder ... ahem, probably not well received. Should have kept his mouth shut on that, at least when speaking publicly.
