State Farm Launches Program to Distribute LGBTQ Books to Kindergartners

State Farm, the household name insurance company, has launched a program that would enlist hundreds of staff volunteers across the country to distribute LGBTQ-themed books to teachers, community centers, and libraries, explicitly targeting children as young as kindergartners.

“The project’s goal is to increase representation of LGBTQ+ books and support out communities in having challenging, important and empowering conversations with children Age 5+,” the email from Jose Soto, State Farm’s Corporate Responsibility Analyst, to all Florida agents reads.

She’s going to endure the calls from angry clients and will pass these on to corporate.....some will simply cancel their Insurance which I will certainly do should they pursue this.....we’ll see just how long State Farm will take the heat - IF enough agents actually represent their clients.

Yep...called mine this afternoon, it’s a small office so they were all upset State Farm Corporate was doing this. They said they expect now to get other calls so was glad I called. They’re not happy.

Major question of mine too! Quite a few of our fellow citizens seem to go along with it.

Just got return call and of course gave them an earfull - boils down to Please just stay away from our youngsters and just sell Insurance. Leave parenting and education alone.

We had them years ago and while you paid a premium, they had great service. We dropped them to save a few bucks.

If enough State Farm customers leave SF it will happen quickly.
U seem hesitant to leave State Farm. Yet want others to do the dirty work.

Time to make a stink with criminal complaints. A number of jurisdictions have laws on the books pertaining to distribution/exposure of adult sexual-themed material to children. Enthusiasm for enforcement may vary from locale to locale.

State Farm has withdrawn their support for this organization.

I have a lot of insurance through them and I immediately contacted my agent who is a good friend and Christian brother.
He just sent me a text saying that they have withdrawn support.

While you're at it, see if you can locate and print out your state statute concerning the distribution/exposure of adult sexual content to children and send that along too. Let's see if their enthusiasm gets affected or not.
