Can Jake Bequette pull an upset in Arkansas (Tuesday)

Arkansas primary is next Tuesday.

Boozman’s scramble shows the risk he confronts in 2022: The second-term senator is trying to beat back an under-the-radar primary challenge from 33-year-old Jake Bequette, a former Arkansas Razorbacks star and reserve for the NFL’s New England Patriots who is trying to claim the MAGA mantle — and is financed by Richard Uihlein, one of the wealthiest conservative donors in the country.

In response, Boozman has raced to maintain Trump’s support, get backup from Republican leaders and receive his own funding from major contributors looking to protect him. The incumbent has started airing TV ads attacking Bequette, a clear indication he isn’t taking his rival for granted.

Trump endorsed incumbent Boozman unfortunately.

We'll see what happens Tuesday.

Trump has endorsed way too many Bush League Republicans.

We will NEVER Make America Great Again by re-electing Assistant Democrats.

I believe Trump realizes he’ll have to work with the BLR to get any of his agenda passed once he’s back in office. All we can do is get him as many UltraMAGA in office as possible.

Don’t know why he would believe that when they obstructed him securing the border for four years and assisted the Democrats with the Russia hoax and assisted with the Big Steal.

It is so maddening! Here is a clear case where conservatives can elect a PROVEN MAGA candidate to the senate (Arkansas is a deep Red state now) and Trump endorses the milquetoast, establishment incumbent.

Trump also endorsed Mitt Romney, even though he already knew Romney had a history of stabbing conservatives in the back. It is infuriating to me, the way Trump endorsed and helped the greaseball, carpetbagger RINO Oz in Pennsylvania. His talk about endorsing the republican “who has the best chance to win the general election” does not wash. If that is the case then why didn’t he endorse Lou Barletta for governor in Pennsylvania? Trump is coming very close to destroying a lot of goodwill he has accumulated the last 6 years, if he keeps endorsing RINO’s.

One of the problems with Trump’s RINO endorsements is that they will still be in congress long after Trump has left the scene. Incumbency guarantees that Trump’s RINOs will enjoy decades of “public service.”

Handsome fella-those things count. If he can win in November I say go for it (change). It sends a message countrywide. Boozman will veer back to his old ways after voting no on Ukraine aid yesterday-forgot already?

The Rats have been nominating veterans to hide their girlie-man instincts. As a former NFL player and local gridiron hero Baguette can present an image of being a member of the warrior class.

Patiently waiting for Jimmy Goroppolo to give up football and do the same. He’s a failed football player so far. Hopefully he’d be one of us-don’t think so.

Boozman isn’t the RINO problem in AK, Hutchinson is.

*Trump endorsed incumbent Boozman unfortunately.* Bequette, like Barrett(Pennsylvania) is unvetted and aiming possibly too high. Leapfrogging the house is a bit too ambitious. Think Cawthorne-no local stuff.

*Bozeman was one of the few senators that voted NO on this week’s $40 billion* Your post#4-See my post#8.

*One of the problems with Trump’s RINO endorsements is that they will still be in congress long after Trump has left the scene.*

You are so right. Still, you follow the Buckley rule. Trump does and he’s smarter than we are-hurts doesn’t it? Begettes name reminds me of that soft pastry with the powdered sugar on top and women like sweets. Subconscious-get it? They go for the flash where we’ll never win. So you start off with an attractive candidate and it sends the message nationwide. Let him be the first to speak at GOP events. Trump can’t lose either way unless there’s real dirt on the younger Baguette.

I don't mind following the Buckley rule if it is applied to Trump-endorsed RINOs.

Boozeman was one of the 11 Senators who voted against the $40B ukraine package. Granted, his vote made no difference to the outcome and it was right before his primary.

I would rather take a chance with a Trump-endorsed RINO over a Mitch-endorsed RINO.

Cawthorn was unvetted and now he has lost his primary to a Mitch lackey.

Barnett took votes away from Oz, and we are on the brink of getting another Romney clone in the Senate because of it.

Mastriano is the perfect guy, in my book. It would be great if we could flood the primaries with Mastriano-like challengers, but you have to work with what you have. And a complete unknown who claims to be MAGA will be destroyed by the media between now and November.

Look what the lamestream media is doing to Elon Musk now.

AH, so that explains why Boozeman voted against the 40 billion dollar aide to Ukraine. I knew there had to be some reason. 🙂

Right! Cotton is endorsing him but did not vote the same on the latest Ukraine package! I haven’t seen this ad lately probably because Boozman knew he’d lose if he voted for that funding. I’m voting for Bequette.

I know Boozeman, and nothing about Bequette, but he has to be better. 🙂

If I had a vote in Ar I would vote for him also. 🙂

Oz took votes away from Barnette, the real MAGA candidate.
