Former President Trump is urging celebrity physician Mehmet Oz to declare victory in Pennsylvania’s GOP Senate primary even as the race remains too close to call.
In a post on Truth Social, the social media platform Trump founded last year, the former president said Oz should proclaim himself the winner of the contest, arguing that doing so would make it “much harder for them to cheat with the ballots that they ‘just happened to find.’”
Oz, whom Trump endorsed last month, is deadlocked with former hedge fund CEO David McCormick in the Republican Senate primary, with fewer than 3,000 votes separating the two.

Trump said he should declare victory.
Oz is not yet been told he is the winner.
If Oz declared he is the winner, that would not be true.
Trump is telling him to tell a lie.
Just wishing something to be true, does not make it true.
Trump should know and understand that by now.
This stinks to high heaven! McCormick was third in all the polls yet he is only trailing by 2,400. Well I compared the Gubernatorial primary to the Senate primary and there were 21,000 more total Senate votes than Gubernatorial. That difference is quite high and McCormick benefited from mail-in ballots. Also, thanks to Kathy Barnette for being a spoiler.
Usually there’s one strong candiate with a bunch of vanity posers. Some of the posers got double digits.
Just call em as I see em.
What enumerated said > +1

only if you don’t do anything about it. Clean it up with fresh water and get the dirty water into the sewer where it belongs.
Yes he does.
Temporarily filling-in for lightman, while he's smashing PA's demonKKKrat voting poll fraud, on Tuesday & Wednesday.
Gives CNN something to talk about.
If Oz wins, he will owe Trump at least that’s something. Will he speak for Pennsylvania? I don’t see that he knows enough about Pennsylvania to do that!
If McCormick wins, well he won’t owe Trump anything. He might be a better spokesman for Pennsylvania, though not very MAGA.
Romney like? Maybe, though Romney’s kind of a unique SOB.
Both will have trouble beating a healthy Fetterman. Fetterman’s current health is a new wild card in this race.
EXACTLY!
Can someone from PA enlighten me here? Is PA an open or closed primary state? Also, was the Gubernatorial primary above the Senate primary on the ballot or, the other way around? Which race was above the other? It doesn’t make sense to have a difference in 21,000 total votes.
yes he should.
Claiming victory has no legal standing.
Conceding an election has no legal standing either.
What matters is that votes are counted, and then election officials have to officially certify results.
Candidates claiming victory or conceding an election are not legally binding statements in any way.
Trump needs a time out. How would he look if OZ loses?
Trump needs to focus on huge issues - immigration, China, inflation, not on a political race between two candidates.
Trump needs to stop backing who he likes without deep vetting first.
PA is a key battle ground state and it’s ripe with corruption and stealing elections.
How in the world can a ballot printing company submit a ballot for review and testing, and once approved by the government...
Print a different ballot from a different pdf file???
This is horrifying.
Aren’t there any protection measures?
I believe this may have been a mistake, but just as easily it could be done in purpose for nefarious ends.
So, Truth Social doesn’t show its posts to people unless they have an account?
That seems strange, how are average folks going to browse the boards just out of curiosity with needing to register?
