Former President Trump is urging celebrity physician Mehmet Oz to declare victory in Pennsylvania’s GOP Senate primary even as the race remains too close to call.
In a post on Truth Social, the social media platform Trump founded last year, the former president said Oz should proclaim himself the winner of the contest, arguing that doing so would make it “much harder for them to cheat with the ballots that they ‘just happened to find.’”
Oz, whom Trump endorsed last month, is deadlocked with former hedge fund CEO David McCormick in the Republican Senate primary, with fewer than 3,000 votes separating the two.

The GOPe hates runoffs. They have used vote splitting as a very effective weapon against the base. Graham, Flake, McTraitor the list goes on. Mitch and the boys do everything they can to prevent runoffs so they can the Rino’s in office.

It’s internal to one party, no legal issues. Party can decide who their candidate is. Don’t even have to follow voting if they don’t want.

The stated end of the primary election has past and Oz is 2500 votes in front. Why not claim victory?
I voted for Kathy Barnette despite all the past tweets taken out of context that Hannity & Co. were slinging at her. She’s definitely MAGA and a fighter.
And she’s outspokenly pissed-off about the stolen 2020 election - which is my first requirement for any candidate from now on.
Oz and McCormick are not even remotely MAGA.
I was disappointed when Trump endorsed Oz - but I understand why - he likes to pick the winner - and he was convinced that it would be Oz.
Oz might be somewhat loyal to Trump - he seems like a nice guy - but he seems way too comfortable with lefty types. I think he will care too much about getting along with the ‘Rats - rather than exterminating them.
He never dares to say anything about the stolen election - which to me disqualifies him.

Kathy Barnette seems pretty solid to someone who is 1,000 miles away. She didn’t support Trump in 2015 but then again at the time I was a Cruz supporter myself. Hope she has a bright future.

Barnette voters have handed a victory to the Mitch-endorsed RINO McCormick. If he wins, he'll be a Romney clone in the Senate (as if one isn't enough).
No wonder Club For Growth was so eager to donate to her campaign. This is exactly the outcome they wanted.
