American Voters: "We're concerned about the prices of milk, eggs, baby formula, and gas."
U.S. Government: "So you're saying we should spend tens of billions more on a proxy war against Russia and ban oil and natural gas drilling here at home?"
American Voters: "No, listen: inflation is making it impossible to afford groceries. Our businesses are dying."
U.S. Government: "You want us to talk more about transgenderism and the legacies of slavery? Maybe throw in some free sexual grooming advice for your children?"
American Voters: "Pay attention! We'll talk slowly for the remedial learners in Congress. In every way possible, America is headed in the wrong direction right now!"
U.S. Government: "You think we need more illegal immigration right now? That's fine, we can do that. No problem."
Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw humorously remarked that "Britain and America are two nations divided by a common language." Now the same can be said about American citizens and their "public servants." There is what Americans want, and there is what those in power give them. So much for representative government, eh?

American Voters: “We want free and fair elections.”
U.S. Government: “So you want us to rig elections to make sure the Deep State always wins?”

Tokenism for American citizens, trillions to bomb Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, it will be hundreds of billions spent on Ukraine, plenty of MIC slush fund money, plenty of baby formula for illegals and no doubt shipped also to Ukraine, tough luck for American citizens on that, while Biden also tries to stoke a race war to further divide Americans with yet another shiny object.
The “Government” is your enemy. They are NOT your friend.
Don’t know if the author of article mention or not because I didn’t go to the link but the reason should have been mentioned if wasn’t. The reason citizens are not heard or listened to is as all here know ….. the elected are paid enormous sums of money not to listen to or hear the voices of the citizens. Much of the money paid to the elected is also stolen from the citizens. They simply take the money and run. According to the lamestream media and the elected the citizens are only in America to given the politicians a vote, if we vote the right way, otherwise the lamestream media can always announce whom the citizens meant to vote for. Iron clad system …. And yes we are that far down the rabbit hole

U.S. Government: “So you want us to require mandatory vaccinations to keep you safe?”
One more—
American Voters: “We insist on the right to freedom of speech.”
U.S. Government: “So you want us to decide what speech we approve so we can censor everything else as ‘hate speech’ and ‘dangerous conspiracy theories’.
One more—
American Voters: “We want equal treatment under the law.”
U.S. Government: “So you want us to discriminate against whites and Asians to make sure the country is ‘fair’ and ‘equitable’”.

Sadly, I must agree. There were always divisions in American society. But the government and the schools would work hard to minimize those divisions. Now those institutions are actively trying to make things worse.
In a way, this is like a bunch of stupid people who carelessly throw manure into a community water supply. Please don’t stop them. After all, the community has water to spare. No big deal if some of it gets contaminated.
Then one day the community discovers that there is no clean water left.
If you want to be labeled an insurrectionist, just go around quoting the Declaration of Independence.
