On March 23, standup comic Sampson McCormick was performing at the Win-River Resort & Casino in Redding, Calif., a venue he’s headlined many times over the last decade. But this time was different because it ended with him getting punched in the face.
It started when a female heckler interrupted his act, and McCormick, 36, made a few jokes at her expense. “I wasn’t mean or anything, just roasted her a little bit and she got upset,” he said.
“The next thing I know, a big, burly man came rushing up to the stage and hit me in my jaw.”

Made him famous...
Setup???????
Marxism bans all critics.

Groucho: Yes!
Not commenting, although I would like to.
Redding: You can’t get there from pretty much anywhere.
Don’t we need to know the skin colors of those involved to know how to react to this?
From what I can gather, these days comedians are only allowed to make fun of Trump. Any other target will get you a bump on the noggin.
Just doing the work I’m to cowardly to do.

Thin-skinned snowflakes.
I look at these attacks as just part of their act. It makes me laugh. LOL
Leftists are angry humorless people, who given the opportunity just need the smallest trigger to go off. They invented “microagression” as a way to deflect blame for their lack of self control.
Maybe we need comedy ofr the woketards, which would be none, and then comedy that would not let in anyone from protected social groups and classes. For their own safety.
Permit stand-up comics to open carry on-stage.
