I wouldn’t be so quick to call them pro-russian, if they weren’t so enthusiastically cheering for russia’s success, while dismissing out-of-hand the literal mountains of dead bodies that russia is leaving behind as irrelevant. It’s sickening.

The constant comparisons of current events in the Ukraine to Hitler are inappropriate, given the numerous differences in terms of the geopolitical state of Europe at the time.

Hence my third point referenced: media support is all but unanimous for Ukraine's version of events on the ground, and any reporting to the contrary is shouted down (or outright censored, depending on what part of Europe you may be in). This makes the aforementioned Freepers very suspicious, to the point of questioning whether the "mountains of dead bodies" are even real (rightly or wrongly); from what I've observed, there's still disputes over the narrative regarding the alleged massacres in Bucha, and who was responsible.
I maintain that it won't be until long after the fighting ends that we'll find out the true extent of casualties on the ground.
But given that only pro-Ukrainian sources (as far as I'm aware) have been the ones retweeting video game footage (more than once, at that!) as evidence of Ukraine destroying Russian assets, I don't think their skepticism is unwarranted.
Force of habit, much like "Kiev" (which is all I've known it as prior to 2022) versus "Kyiv." No offense meant.
