Plan for the destruction of the Dem Party. Who is the mastermind? Do they think raising gas prices will be welcomed by the public? Mass transportation, electric cars, etc. can not meet the current needs of the people. It also raises the prices of all goods and services that depend upon energy, i.e., trucks, factories, farmers, etc. Insane.

“Insane.”

The Dems are cunning and committed, but not terribly intelligent. I speculate that the calculus is, they need to push the country to “renewable”, (inefficient and expensive), alternate energy sources. If they can damage the fossil fuel industry enough, perhaps they can make recovery impossible. Meanwhile, their donors will be pleased with the progress.

The losses in Nov. will be considered collateral damage, just like the losses after Obamacare. The media has their back, the Dems will recover.

Don't kid yourself, the GOP is part of this. They indirectly (by helping bills make it out of committee) and directly (by providing needed votes to pass) supported Biden getting over $3T of new spending with freshly printed money and they STILL haven't said boo about the war on oil that Biden has engaged in which is destroying the economy. They don't even campaign against him, really, because they think they will win regardless and don't want to have awkward promises that they have no intent of keeping hanging over them.

Bottom line, they're also part of the problem.
