Even if the states had expressly constitutionally given the feds the power to order manufactures to shut down, election year lawmakers, not non-elected federal bureaucrats, should be making such decisions.

Surprise, surprise, infant formula is heavily regulated, and monopolies are granted by government in various locations. Plus, there is a high bar to entry for new manufacturers. Don’t expect to read any of this in the gaslight media.

You can envision it now. Pete and his husband and family up there on the stage at the Democrat convention. Liberals and media fawning over this family. These people becoming the face of homosexual marriage and homosexual families. They even adopted a boy and a girl, so they got both sexes of children.
I think Pete is in his late 30s? So he could well be a factor in presidential politics for decades to come.
As a white man, he would be nothing special as Democrats feel the need to celebrate diversity. But as a homosexual, he is right out of central casting to be the face of diversity in the Democrat party.
