UKRAINIAN President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that he’s ready to talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He said “we must find an agreement,’’ - but with no ultimatum as a condition.
Zelensky told Italian RAI state TV in an interview: “We want the Russian army to leave our land, we aren’t on Russian soil".
“We won’t save Putin’s face by paying with our territory. That would be unjust.”
In another comment, Zelensky said of the future: “We have to think of the future of Russia. I, as president of Ukraine, say these are our neighbours. There will be other presidents, other presidents and other generations” of Russia.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's spy chief last night claimed that a coup to remove Vladimir Putin is already under way and that Russia would lose the war by the end of this year.
Major General Kyrylo Budanov, 36, said he believed a turning point in the conflict will come later this summer and will eventually see Putin ousted from office.
"The breaking point will be in the second part of August," General Budanov told Sky News.
"Most of the active combat will have finished by the end of this year. It will eventually lead to the change of leadership of the Russian Federation. This process has already been launched.
"As a result, we will renew Ukrainian power in all our territories."

Zelenskyy sure loves to make stuff up.
Like what?
It’s one thing to say the United States has no interest in the war in Ukraine and shouldn’t be facilitating it ... that’s a valid point of view that people may agree or disagree with. But to actively cheer for the Russians against a polity they’ve essentially raped, is pretty low.
How did Waco work out for you, BTW?
Yeah, and this: “Meanwhile, Ukraine’s spy chief last night claimed that a coup to remove Vladimir Putin is already under way and that Russia would lose the war by the end of this year.”
So, he’s asking us to allow over half a year to confirm whether his conspiracy theory is correct or not.🤣
I don’t have a horse in this race, but I’m seeing a lot of unprovable nonsense coming from the Ukraine side, at least on the propaganda front. We’ll probably know a lot sooner than “by the end of the year” if it is true or not, though.
“Zelenskyy sure loves to make stuff up.”
It’s how the game is played. Russia does the same thing, and has been doing it much longer.
Just watched Operation Mincemeat. The British thought that maybe Hitler’s top intel guy was part of the secret cabal that knew Hitler was going to get Germany totally destroyed and were plotting to take him out. There have got to be many in Russia that see what a flaming disaster this is for Russia and are doing likewise.
Ukraine is kicking Russia’s butt! Zelenskyy doesn’t need to make up anything.

Plenty of people ready to take Putin’s place. The problem for Ukraine is that there won’t be anything left of the country, if any of them do get power, at least judging by the statements they’re making.
Yes, and January 6 was also “a coup and insurrection aimed to end freedom and democracy in the USA.”
That’s probably what they put in newspapers in Russia, or China, or India - and people believe it, and pass it on as truth.
You see how this nonsense works?
As we’ve heard so many times before - “UKRAINIAN President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that he’s ready to talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin”.......
Those days passed him by when he refused to meet - continued fighting in Donbass and refused to impliment what he agreed to in the Minsk Agreements...the list goes on.
All he does is stall for time , ask for more money and armament - he guy is unreliable apart from that.
Ukraine is such a globalist tool aand Zelenski is such a globalist puppet, I got no sympathy for that bidenistic creep only empathy for the victims of war these gangster/politicians create
it sickens me how the "news" lies and distorts things and stirs up more war
TASS is banned , cant get the russian side of the story, just fake tass western edited "news"
“Ukraine is kicking Russia’s butt! Zelenskyy doesn’t need to make up anything.“
Good, that means congress should have no trouble stopping the 40 billion or so we are planning on sending next week.
A coup underway which takes 6 months to materialize isn’t a coup. It’s a confidence scheme.

Ukraine Military intelligence chief, Major General Kyrylo Budanov: told Sky News defeat in Ukraine would lead to the removal of Russia’s leader and the country’s disintegration.
“It will eventually lead to the change of leadership of the Russian Federation. This process has already been launched and they are moving into that way.”
Does that mean a coup is under way?
“Yes,” he responded.
“They are moving in this way and it is impossible to stop it.”
He claimed Mr Putin is in a “very bad psychological and physical condition and he is very sick”.
The Russian leader has cancer and other illnesses, he says.
He dismissed suggestions he was spreading propaganda as part of the information war and was certain of his claims.
“It’s my job, it’s my work, if not me who will know this?”
“Russia had expected it could march across Ukraine without much of a fight – but in reality invading troops have faced a valiant resistance.
Last month, Ukrainian forces pushed Russian troops out of Kyiv and managed to reoccupy towns and defensive positions up to 33km east of the capital in a major victory.
The Kremlin declared that the first stage of its campaign to “denazify and demilitarise” Ukraine was a success despite the retreat of Russian troops – and it will now focus its efforts on breakaway province Donetsk.
The mounting frustration from Russia’s top army and intelligence chiefs over the war also comes as rumours swirl around the state of Mr Putin’s physical health.
A Kremlin insider reportedly claimed he is set to undergo an operation for cancer and will hand over power to his hard line spy chief.
It’s thought the Russian dictator could now face an uprising from his inner circle amid the unprecedented criticism and growing demand for “all-out war” and “mobilisation”.
New intelligence analysis suggested he could be ousted in a “palace coup” staged by his cronies within two years.
Russian security expert Andrei Soldatov told The Centre for European Policy Analysis: “Does it matter? It matters a lot.
“This is the very first time the siloviki are putting distance between themselves and the president. Which opens up all sorts of possibilities.”
Mr Putin is already bracing for a possible military coup after he purged 150 spies over the invasion of Ukraine.
He launched a “Stalinist” purge of his intelligence services – including sending Sergei Beseda, head of the fifth service of the FSB, to prison.
Russia analyst Alexey Muraviev has previously warned that Mr Putin faces a potential coup from within his military and intelligence services.
Mr Muraviev told Sky News Australia that the coup may come as they want to try to win the war – not to stop aggression in Ukraine.
He said: “I think that there have been tensions between Russia and the intelligence community and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
“Because clearly, there’s been a clear error of judgment that was made and it was probably driven by Putin himself about the situation in Ukraine.
“About the initial planning and the initial phase of the invasion where the Russian military naturally assume that they’re going there as liberators rather than the invaders.
“I think that sort of false narrative was presented to them by the Supreme Commander in Chief, and when it fired back when the Russians began taking heavy casualties, Putin began quietly blaming the security services.
“Which I don’t think went really well also because he’s coming from within the security apparatus.”
Laughably naive.
have been seeing claims from insider that Putin is schizoaffective. I find that hard to believe. I have dealt with schizoaffective person.
Putin might be a sociopath but not schizoaffective.
