Let's take a brief look at Mastriano's background in electoral politics:
2018: Finished FOURTH in the GOP primary for the 13th Congressional district.
2019: Won the special election to fill the vacant seat in the 33rd PA Senate district. (NOTE: A Democrat hasn't represented this district since 1940.)
2020: Won re-election in the 33rd PA Senate District.
There is nothing overly impressive about any of this.
Pete Butt-Fudge served in the U.S. military.
Alexander Vindman served in the U.S. military.
John McCain served in the U.S. military.
John Kerry served in the U.S. military.
I could go on for hours.
Donald J. Trump did NOT serve in the U.S. military.
The days of someone's military experience meaning a damn thing to me are long past, dude. That might matter in the 33rd PA Senate district, but I think you'd be a damn fool to think that's going to carry much weight in a statewide election in 2022.
Good pick. Almost makes up for the Dr. Oz fiasco.
