I don’t think Heidi ever said she worked ON Wall Street if she didn’t work on Wall Street, did she? As Rummy said, not accurate, more puffery because she is a dishonest lightweight grifter. Plus she was taking another shot a Trump.
She is also not owning her own tweets. Is she saying she was hacked? We have enough liars in Washington.
There is also the nugget about how she DOES NOT remember when she first voted in PA. Then she *THINKS* it was 2016 for Trump, but the newspaper investigated it and found she didn’t vote in PA until 2018. She was also asked to release her DD214 and she is refusing. #kathyisafraud
This might be the best assessment of Barnette that I've seen yet.
She's no better than #3 on my list of GOP candidates in that Senate race, and that's mainly because she doesn't bring anything to the table for an important position in Washington other than sound bites and a great life story.
At best, her résumé reads like something I'd expect to see for a mid-level manager in the corporate world.
At worst, she may be a grifter who hasn't had a real job in years and is using a faux political career to generate publicity and raise money.
Not an Oz fan, but “ working on Wall Street” means just that. “Working from n financial markets” means something else.

I’m not in Pennsylvania, but senators matter. They’re about the only thing holding back the sewage, and we have to thank a couple of democrats for keeping some semblance of sanity in our fedgov.

Working on Wall Street is specific to lower Manhattan financial firms and is a big deal. Working in St Louis is not equivalent.
Telling supporters to accuse neighbors of being racist if they won’t take her card is a big deal.
I don’t want a senator who is supposed to be able to form opinions on complex subjects but can’t remember when she moved to PA, when she taught at college level, who she voted for in 2016, 2020. She puts on a good front but she is anything but solid. The left is salivating. Having donated to Mia Love & a few other “strong conservatives” who washed out promptly Barnette sets my alarm bells ringing. She plays the organ stops but her response to questions is very shifty.
It’s a shame we don’t have a better candidate because OZ is from hunger; at least his flaws are in clear sight.

That’s my take, as well. Barnett probably never thought she would be under such intense scrutiny wherein little white lies are blown up into big whoppers. I repeatedly witnessed something similar during 40 years of academic life. A resume fudge here and there that ultimately gets exposed and ends a job candidate’s mobility.
Biden wasn’t an actual professor. That was a title given really for the Big Guy giving Penn the opportunity to launder even more of his Chinese graft for him. Supposedly he hosted a forum or some such as part of his honorifically “professorial” duties.
