A few days ago, GOP Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia, and Dan Crenshaw from Texas, were involved in a heated online exchange over providing U.S. aid to Ukraine.
Since Russia's incursion began, the U.S has supplied Ukraine with billions of dollars in aid. Back in March, the House and the Senate approved $13.6bn for ‘assistance’ to Ukraine. On Tuesday, the House approved $40 billion more in aid. At the beginning of the month, Biden had requested $33 billion but the House generously offered $7 billion more.
The aid to Ukraine comes as the US, under Biden, is struggling on several fronts.

isn’t it curious, that a wounded veteran of a ‘forever war’, now given the privilege of determining which of America’s sons and daughters go forth to the next ‘Vietnam’?

No they aren’t. It’s 100 percent legit to point out that leaders here who freak out about Ukraine’s security are unwilling to address ours.

It’s 100 percent legit to point out that leaders here who freak out about Ukraine’s security are unwilling to address ours. That's an argument for supporting the wall, not for refusing to aid Ukraine. Aiding Ukraine does not prevent us from securing the border, and you know that.
And what leaders are you talking about? Dems, sure. But Crenshaw voted for the wall, so how is he or any other Republican who supported both the Wall and Ukraine at fault for it not being built?
The problem is the unwillingness.of this particular Administration to build the wall, period. It has nothing to do with a lack of money.

It is amazing that just as one war ended badly and cut off the establishment’s dirty money supply that they started another war but this time with a nuclear power? They don’t get in these wars to win but to fleece the American people.

You seem to have a very selective memory that you turn-on/turn-off whenever it suits your position on an argument.
Apparently you forgot how President Trump had move money around in the military budget because he could not get the GOP, who were in the majority at the time, to support providing him with a measly 5 billion.
Pointing out Crenshaw's vote, however many times on this subject he voted with President Trump, without acknowledging the fact that a large number of GOP members, both House and Senate, refused to back President Trump on his effort to build the wall is disingenuous on your part!
So get back to us when the GOP stands up in solidarity for truly building the wall, stopping amnesty, funding things that are truly necessary for the security of the U.S. (which funding the fake Globalist war in Ukraine never was).

Seems to be their MO. Wonder if Afghanistan started to ask for too large a cut. Had to be big for mil. To leave $80B in hardware behind.

How about refusing to vote for this bill unless it included US border protections at least at 25% of the amount sent to the oligarchs who will loot this $40 Billion? You know, use leverage to get something beneficial for his ACTUAL CONSTITUENTS.

How about refusing to vote for this bill unless it included US border protections at least at 25% of the amount sent to the oligarchs who will loot this $40 Billion? Because it won't pass, and you know it. Which illustrates the point that bringing up the border in the context of a Ukraine aid bill isn't about the border at all. It's just a poison pill to kill aid to Ukraine.
Attacking Democrats by saying they're willing to protect other country's borders but not our own is a great argument, and we should jam it down their throats in the context of elections. But whether or not we give aid to Ukraine should pass or fail on its own merits.

Crenshaw will have big shoes to fill when he begins representing The Woodlands in Texas next year. We're not going to be the same constituents that he's used.
Here is Crenshaw's current gerrymandered district (includes Humble, Memorial, Montrose, Rice University):
Here is the new 2022 district (includes Kingwood, The Woodlands, Shenandoah, Oak Ridge North, Bender's Landing:
The region from Bender's Landing, Harmony, The Falls/Imperial Oaks (basically along Hwy 99 north) is the fastest growing ZIP code in the entire Woodlands area).

Your response proves you know nothing about negotiation. Your style of Republican gives everything and gets nothing. It’s what’s led many to the realization that perhaps the leaders in the GOP WANT to get nothing - because they and the Democrats are on the same side.
