The baby formula shortage continues to get worse
Abbott Nutrition has finally provided a timeline for when new stock from its shuttered Sturgis, Michigan, baby formula manufacturing facility could hit store shelves in the U.S.: At least two months.
"We understand the situation is urgent – getting Sturgis up and running will help alleviate this shortage," the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
"Subject to [U.S. Food and Drug Administration] approval, we could restart the site within two weeks," the statement continues. "We would begin production of EleCare, Alimentum and metabolic formulas first and then begin production of Similac and other formulas. From the time we restart the site, it will take six to eight weeks before product is available on shelves."
The Sturgis plant has been closed since February, when Abbott issued a voluntary recall of certain powdered formulas made at the facility amid an FDA investigation after four complaints that babies who consumed products from the plant became sick from bacterial infections. Two of the infants died.
The company said Wednesday that "after a thorough review of all available data, there is no evidence to link our formulas to these infant illnesses."
In the meantime, pressure has been building for the FDA to do more to address the infant formula shortage. FDA Commissioner Robert Califf said in a statement Tuesday that the agency was "doing everything in our power to ensure there is adequate product available where and when" consumers need it.

So the FDA caused the shortage. They shut down a major share of our baby food supply over 4 infections and 2 deaths that were apparently unrelated to the formula, let alone a cause for shutting down a plant for the better part of a year.
But all the jab-related deaths? Cause for more mandated jabs!
Shuttered on purpose I would guess. The bacteria thing was a farce, so this was a deliberate sabotage.
I would bet that nobody in the elites favor are doing without.
Gubbermint -- "We are on it!"
Are there more comforting and confidence-inspiring words in the English language?
The baby formula shortage will be used as a weapon against overturning Roe v Wade.
the idea we would be shipping baby formula to Ukraine when we cannot import formula from the EU during a crisis such as this is a clear display of malice. They Knew!!
Maybe a shortage of “baby milkshakes” is a good thing.
government produced baby formula ? Should parents be worried ?
But Ukraine needs our $40B! How else is the big guy going to get his 10%?
Govt applying pressure on citizens until they scream “Do Something!” Then the fun (s) begins.
Funny how during WW II we could build a Liberty ship in less than a week. But it takes eight weeks to reopen a key plant.
Some of the supplies are also apparently going down to the southern border.

Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, Other Billionaires Invest in Environmentally-Friendly Artificial Breast Milk Cultured From Human Mammary
Excerpt:
A new and better breast milk alternative has arrived, and it claims to be helpful for the environment as well. The U.S. firm, BIOMILQ, is artificially producing human breast milk from cultured human mammary epithelial cells to be commercially available to consumers.
The start-up company has received $3.5 million from an investment fund that is co-founded by Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, and Mark Zuckerberg. The fund was established to help prevent the ill effects of climate change brought about by carbon emissions.
Wonder who they have in mind for our hitler
How much of the formula sent to Ukraine will spoil on the way there ?
How did babies ever survive before there was any baby formula?
I’m just waiting for Beto to try and pin the blame to Gov. Abbott...lol.
