Lines in the sand. Last straws. One last chance at peace. Many names for finally standing up to a bully. Throw a dart and pick one. If it wasn’t for Putin’s patience, NATO expansion (from 12 nations to 30 nations today) would have caused war long ago.

Putin’s patience?
If he ever gets the chance, thug Putin will gladly kill a useful idiot like you.
You people who sit around crying about poor Russia, which is in a military alliance with China designed to destroy us, are morons.
Yeah I know it’s all our fault. Please go to Russia where you’d be imprisoned in short order.

You can’t refute that he has had two nations on his border
for 18 years that were members of NATO, so you claim that
he was patient rather than admit this was no different.

Your logic doesn’t even hold up.

That’s about right. The only thing I’ve ever sewen nato do is bomb innocent people, usually for the benefit ofnarco-terrorists, nazis, or other stripes of barbarians. Sweden and Finland would have to be totally out of thir minds to want any part of that shit now.

Putin himself wanted to join NATO to draw closer to the West economically. His own motives at the time confirmed that joining NATO does not mean you are being involved in aggressive military expansion.

Putin always knew, right down to the bottom of his soul, that NATO was never going to invade Russia. He and the rest of the world could see NATO's defense budgets consistently shrinking over time, and that the major European players in NATO had absolutely no appetite for military adventures. And apart from all that, Putin knew that Russia's nuclear arsenal was the final deterrent to anyone actually seeking to invade Russia itself.

Putin never feared NATO militarily. What he did fear was that Russia's neighbors could no longer be bullied or intimidated by Russia, and would be free to pursue their own economic and political interests. He believed Russia had the right to hegemony in Eastern Europe. And...it doesn't.

“If it wasn’t for Putin’s patience, NATO expansion (from 12 nations to 30 nations today) would have caused war long ago.”

Get your facts straight if you want anyone to give you any credibility. Since 2000, when Putin first took office as president, until today, NATO went from 19 nations to 30 (not from 12 to 30). Most of those 11 had been under Soviet domination and wanted nothing at all to do with Russia, as Russia had been an oppressor. So, it’s not like NATO went courting them, but rather they went to NATO, as they feared Russia (with good reason).
