Barnette, in her bio on her webpage, says: "Appearing regularly on national TV and radio, Kathy Barnette is a veteran, former adjunct professor of corporate finance, sought-after conference speaker, and conservative political commentator. Next up — Kathy is taking on Washington D.C. and is running for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania."
The bio also reads: "Kathy served her country proudly for 10 years in the Armed Forces Reserves where she was accepted into Officer Candidacy School. She worked with two major financial firms in corporate America and sat on the board of a pregnancy crisis center for five years."
The questions to the campaign, which said it doubted whether she would have time for an interview because she was booked for interviews continuously until Election Day, were pretty straightforward and simple:
The name of her hometown Where was she an adjunct professor and when? When was she in officer candidate school? What financial institutions did she work at and when? When did she move from Virginia to Pennsylvania? (She says in her book bio from 2018 that she lived in Virginia, so what year did she move to Pennsylvania?) And a confirmation that the college she graduated from was Troy State University. The reply from the campaign manager noted, “Kathy keeps her early life as private as possible as I am sure you can understand why” — a reference one could surmise was to her life story, which she told compellingly in an ad this past week about being the child of rape.
She could be hiding nothing. She could be hiding everything. We don’t know because there are no answers. While people hold a strong distaste for the press, many level-headed conservatives who really want to win this seat in November...

Again, Oz may be an accomplished heart surgeon, he's LYING about his position on abortion and more. That LYING automatically disqualifies him from office, for any solid, right minded Conservative.
McCormick's financial creds are outweighed by his time with the GW Bush Administration and the time he spent (along with his time in Financial Services) shipping jobs OUT of this country automatically disqualify him for office, for any solid, right minded Conservative.
Barnette: If she's lying about her military service: automatic disqualifier.
Conclusion: lost seat for Republicans in PA. The STUPID PARTY once again failed to fully vett candidates and here we are.
Liberals are going to vote for this sure loser in the primary.
If she is the nominee, we lose the seat in Nov.
She needs to say whether she graduated or not, not just leave it unsaid.
You don’t invoke OCS and try to use it as a resume enhancer if you aren’t prepared to answer questions about it.
Yep.
1. Among all the candidates in the race, he (Oz) stands the best chance of winning in November.
No sale. Not at the cost of more unborn lives. Oz cannot and has not offered a clear, unmistakable repudiation of abortion. He hasn't admitted he was WRONG for being pro-abortion.
Until then, he's just another baby killer lying to win political office.
Love Legit President Trump, he eff'd up on this one. Badly.
The author of this article is from my neck of the woods. She always has been a mouthpiece for the squishes of the GOP establishment (with an occasional feint to the right), hence her timely “expose” of the most conservative candidate in the PA Senate race — but, but, but “Barnette CAN’T WIN!!1!”.
The establishment is in a panic, and Zito’s helpful trashing of the true conservative is meant to ensure that Barnette WON’T defeat the Great and Powerful Oz next Tuesday, thus setting up a win-win for the Mitch McConnells of the world in the general election.
Even if Barnette does win next week, establishment puppets like Salena Zito and Dave McCormick and many others will work tirelessly to make sure it doesn’t happen again in November.
She reminds me of Christine O’Donnell in Delaware. O’Donnell talked conservative and positioned herself as the Tea Party conservative to beat the establishment Republican in the primary because the voters were sick of the establishment. The media took it easy on her but then crucified her in the general election by bringing out all her dirt.
Dr Odd was Meliana’s pick. She is great friends with that nutball.
The name of her husband is unknown, which is very strange.
oz previously supported abortion, gun control, and surgery and drugs for minor children with gender dysphoria. oz is Satan’s candidate.
Your interpretation of Salena Zito is an accurate one IMHO.
The registration advantage has dropped to 500,000 and that’s only because many thousands of dead democrats are still listed on the rolls. Philadelphia refuses to clean their voter rolls (on purpose). Otherwise, the registration advantage is negligible. All those Union Steele workers and coal miners who were once democrats have switched to the GOP. Barnette can beat Frankenstein in the general. A New Jersey Islamist (with the name Mohammed) has NO CHANCE of winning in the Keystone state!
In the case you described we might wind up with our first Green party Senator./sarc
There have been zero attacks against her, be certain the Dems will attack and no one knows how she will handle.
Something about Barnette disturbs me and I haven’t seen her enough to pinpoint it.
There are some people who want to be “liked.”
That, sometimes leads to trouble, especially in the political environment.
I think some of her supporters may be disappointed.
I don’t think that Oz cares who “likes” him.
Is she being supported by Club for Growth? Bannon said she is.
Red flags all over this one, folks.
Yes. And we can’t afford another one of those screw ups.
There are some people that hate established people so much, that they don’t think about throwing the seat away in their quest to fulfill their thirst for revenge against “the system.”
The problem is that Fetterman is an actual Communist and Senate seats are for 6 years.
We don’t need another Roy Moore, Sharon Angle, Todd Akin or Christine O’Donnell.
“I don’t think that Oz cares who “likes” him.”
Well he’s in luck because I don’t.
