But nice try to defend the FDA.

It just went splat.

As usual.

When the FDA come in they WILL find things that are wrong. Because it is impossible to meet all government standards especially when they are looking for a reason. In this case they claimed that the formula was the source of the bacteria that killed the children. Odd that they did not test the formula to be sure but just kind of ass-u-me-d. But it is the Fed. If they were competent they would have honest jobs.

But the formula apparently was NOT the source.

You would think that the Fed would be charging off to find out what was. But "Nah... it'll be FINE," they said.

From last month...

A whistleblower notified the FDA about concerns with a facility that made infant formula. Months later, 2 babies died after consuming it.

Sorry but the “nobody can follow the rules” is pure D horse crap. They’re in violation. It’s just that simple. Sure apparently they got lucky and none of it wound up in the product (which did get tested), but they failed inspection. Failed inspections happen, and now they have to deal with that. And that COMPLETELY answers the question of why they’re still shutdown.
