"[BLM Global Network] received an infusion of $66.5 million from its fiscal sponsor — an intermediary commonly used by fledgling nonprofits to process donations. Two weeks later, a man named Dyane Pascall purchased the seven-bedroom house that would become known as Campus. According to California business-registration documents, Pascall is the financial manager for Janaya and Patrisse Consulting, an LLC run by Cullors and her spouse, Janaya Khan; Pascall is also the chief financial officer for Trap Heals, a nonprofit led by Damon Turner, the father of Cullors’s only child.
"Within a week, Pascall transferred ownership of the house to an LLC established in Delaware by the law firm Perkins Coie. The maneuver ensured that the ultimate identity of the property’s new owner was not disclosed to the public."

From the piece: ""The idea that (the foundation) received millions of dollars and then I hid those dollars in my bank account is absolutely false," she said. "That’s a false narrative. It’s impacted me personally and professionally, that people would accuse me of stealing from Black people."" But she sure would take some cash flow from whitey. Consequences? NOPE! That'd be racis'............
Perkins Coie pops up everywhere in politics
Mostly pops up with Hillary
Next issue, please!
Delaware is notorious for being the home of corporations. Which is to say, a lot a corporations are incorparated in Delware, no matter where they are actaully doing business.
Something about Delare laws makes it attractive for that.
“The political right has no power and is basically useless, so why get upset?”
Tragically, when the political right is given power, they are still useless.
This isn’t Afrika. You idiots did “something wrong”. You don’t fleece gullible, white folks of their money and use the donations to buy yourself a mansion. BLM is a criminal enterprise, IMHO.
Dinndooonuffin....wrong.
As you can see, the moral fiber is completely vestigial and undeveloped in this piece of human trash. She is nothing but a liar and a thief.
Yes- It seems that Perkins Coie is there to help crooked democrats be crooked.
Lock her up.
My issue is buying a $6 million dollar home under the pretense it’s for business purposes (which she said it was) but then using it for private personal parties. (Which she has)
Isn’t there a tax consequence there? Where your business asset is used as a private asset?
On a positive note, that’s $6 million less they have to spend on destroying cities.
An LLC in Delaware is not weird at all—Delaware has the country’s best corporate law.
Tax consequence?
Yes, you are supposed to reimburse the corporation for the use of the asset.
It is one thing for an employee to use a work copier to print out their Robinhood statement. Not smart, but people do it all the time, and most companies have rules in place for such reimbursement.
But if the principal of a corporation was to use an asset (like a plane ...) for personal use, the use of the asset should be paid for in advance. In most cases there should be a resolution by the board that approves the use of a major asset, ahead of time, to keep it clean.
But there will be no discussion of consequences in this case. (D) and black.
The Biden Pentagon recently alerted retired Army Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn it plans to recoup from him nearly $40,000 he received for attending a dinner in Moscow in 2015, claiming he didn't clear the speaking fee in advance and therefore violated the Constitution's Emoluments Clause.
Strange - rules for some but not for others.
When you get Free Money you SPEND IT ON YOURSELF
Whew, that's good! I'm glad they checked. /s
Seems a pretty sophisticated transaction for an organization which claims it didn’t know what an IRS Form 990 was.
Easy-to-do, very low taxes, very attractive to corporations.
