If the GOP takes the House, expect investigations into Hunter Biden

Not that long ago, I wrote here about the pattern we’ve been seeing ever since the Democrats seized the majority in both chambers of Congress and later the White House. There have been endless investigations into not only the January 6th riot, but anything and everything to do with Donald Trump, his family, and anyone willing to accept a position in his administration. Even Joe Biden toyed with the idea of canceling Trump’s executive privilege in terms of his private papers. Most of these have been fishing expeditions that came up dry, but these moves clearly generated plenty of attention-grabbing headlines in our complacent and Democrat-friendly media. Unfortunately for the Democrats, majorities in Congress never last forever and their actions have sent a clear invitation to the GOP should they retake power, particularly in the House. Just imagine who might be the subject of such investigations if a Republican is once again holding the gavel. Well, you don’t have to imagine. New York GOP congresswoman Elise Stefanik, third in command in the House GOP caucus, has penned an op-ed for the New York Post and she knows who will be the subject of such scrutiny if Republicans retake the lower chamber in November. And that person’s name is Hunter Biden.

The corrupt Biden crime family has been unethically mixing business and politics for half a century, and now the American people have the smoking gun: Hunter Biden’s laptop. Hunter’s laptop provides indisputable proof of just how entangled and compromised “The Big Guy,” a k a President Biden, is in his son’s criminal behavior.

When Republicans take control of the House in the midterms, we’ll make sure to investigate as a matter of national security.

Hunter Biden is currently under investigation by federal prosecutors for a litany of criminal allegations. But for almost two years, Joe Biden, the 2020 Biden presidential campaign, the Biden administration, Congressional Democrats, the mainstream media, and Big Tech colluded to prevent the American people from knowing the truth that the Hunter Biden laptop was real.

Stefanik reviews some of the unseemly history of the media’s role in the 2020 election, stifling any mention of the Hunter Biden laptop story. (We could add other names to that list, such as Tara Reade, whose name didn’t appear anywhere on CNN’s website for months at a time.) The Democrats were playing the same game, insisting that the laptop story was a hoax and that anyone who mentioned it was trafficking in “disinformation.”

Now we know that the entire story was true and some of the details were highly disturbing. And yet, not a single Democrat in Congress has suggested opening an investigation to see if the President might in some way have been compromised. But if Democrats lose control of the House, they will not be able to prevent the heads of the appropriate committees from opening their own investigations, calling witnesses, and releasing their findings. And Stefanik suspects that there is more than a little to be found.

However, despite the daily deluge of new information from Hunter’s laptop, there are still many unanswered questions. This is why there must be a thorough Congressional investigation into the Biden crime family as a matter of national security.

The American people have a right to know if Joe Biden has been compromised by his son’s foreign business dealings with Communist China; if Joe Biden has profited from these dealings; why is Elena Baturina, a Russian billionaire who paid Hunter Biden $3 million in 2014, missing from the Biden administration’s list of sanctioned Russian oligarchs?

House Democrats will, of course, claim that this is all just political persecution and many will likely refuse to even participate in such an investigation. You might think that there’s no way any of them could do that with a straight face after the way they handled the formation of the January 6 committee. Don’t be silly. This is Washington we’re talking about here. Most of these people have no shame and blatant hypocrisy can be conveniently ignored.

The one thing I’m waiting to see is how Elise Stefanik’s congressional district will look after the new redistricting maps for New York are released on May 20th. Stefanik was just about as secure as any House member could expect to be in her old district, covering the largely rural north country. But her rapid rise to power in the GOP and her very public criticism of Democrats and their policies have made her more than a thorn in the side of New York’s Democrats. If they could find a way to get rid of her by carving up her district they would no doubt leap at the chance. But the task of drawing the maps has been handed off to an allegedly independent “special master,” so perhaps she’ll survive this reshuffling and continue her work.

Expect in one hand, pee in the other.

Tell me which one fills up first.

This is stupid. Hunter is a crackhead idiot.

If the GOP takes the House (which they could easily fail to do), they need to promise to focus on jobs, the economy, the border, and undoing the damage Biden did.

Nothing will come of it.

Gentle reminder, nothing has come of anything.

the GOP will do nothing of use. NOTHING.

they promised to remove ObamaCARE
but laughed after getting elected,
and then micturated into
the faces of their voters.

then they brought in guillotines to execute their voters.

then they vilified POTUS and supported CCP and potatohead.

Don’t get ahead of yourself. Start with, “if the elections are not rigged, again…”

Yes investigate but don’t advertise you are doing it. Fix the economy and make that your known priority.

Will Lindsay Graham promise another investigation? (And nothing will come of it)?

Maybe Trey Gowdy can come back and do the same thing..

Well if it’s the lesser of two evils GOPe, than what you’ll get it in token investigations with a minimal of charges and no real consequences
