If someone pays 2 million dollars of your taxes, isn’t that 2 mil considered a form of income? So isn’t hunter now liable for paying the taxes on that 2 mil?

I think taxes on large gifting is pretty stiff. I'm sure Hunter reported it though and paid his fair share of taxes.
