For years, women across the country have been warning about the end of abortion, and what it would mean for everyday women. With each new step this country took away from reproductive freedom — the election of President Trump; the confirmation of Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett to the Supreme Court; the upholding of Texas’ clearly unconstitutional SB8 — the threats got more dire and urgent. So some of us chanted, we marched, we protested. We got loud.
Then, last week a leaked draft opinion from Justice Samuel Alito revealed that the Supreme Court is planning to overrule Roe v Wade and Planned Parenthood v Casey – effectively overturning the federal right to an abortion.
Here’s the problem: What’s about to happen in this country isn’t just an assault on the vocal minority of women who’ve been taking to the streets, to state capitals, to the Capitol to demand that our voices are heard, that our rights aren’t trampled on, that our bodies stay ours.
It’s an assault on the silent majority of this country, too. On the women — and men — who haven’t chanted, marched, or protested. Who haven’t taken to the streets or shown up to halls of power. Who still, nonetheless, want abortion to be safe, accessible, and legal.
It’s a whopping 80% of all Americans, a supermajority. Some of us identify as pro-choice; others don’t. Some of us are Democrats; some are Republicans; and others still are apolitical. Some of us get lifesaving health care from Planned Parenthood; others have protested outside its doors. Some of us believe abortion is fundamental, an extension of our right to privacy and bodily autonomy.

How now brown cow?
Of course not. MSNBC is a far left propaganda outfit. Not news. Do you suggest that Fox should copy MSNBC’s model of excluding all opinions from one perspective?
Were her “whopping 80% number” actually true, that would be reflected in the makeup of the states legislatures and governors in the 50 states. It does not and her whopping number is just Womans March BS propaganda lies.
That’s an inconvenient fact they don’t want to talk about because they DON’T have that 80% support at the state levels.
Need to start using the “what is it to you” argument that they used for gay marriage.
What is it to you if your state legislates abortion instead of the feds?
Nope. Just comparing the two.
New York Times has published Lila Rose I think before, that does not make the NYT pro-life, these are just editorials, they’ve published Ted Cruz and the NYT got into some hot water for publishing Tom Cotton.
It will be left to the states if Roe is overturned. That’s how it is suppose to be. These gripers should not go to pro-life states then and it is a shame to the pro-abort/pro-choice type states.
Banning abortion beginning at conception:
No exceptions for rape or incest:

No exceptions for rape or incest, AND ALSO bans prescriptions being sent by US mail (this is dubious constitutionally)

this doesn’t ‘hurt me’ at all.
I am a 69 year old fart who was born sterile.
this previous SCOTUS decision was unconstitutional, and it is time to correct that mistake.
To delve down into specifics with the left on their third-rail abortion mania is just pointless. They aren’t willing to accept ANY controls or conditions on abortion. That’s why they are so miffed that their Federal blanket approval and stopgap to many state laws trying to control different aspects of abortion will very likely go away.
But all during those 9 plus years, open borders, socialized medicine and other liberal pet programs took priority. By contrast, the GOP controlled both houses and the presidency for exactly, what, four years during all that time?
:0).....her facts (80%) are pure BS. If that were true then there would be no problem in even getting a Constitutional Amendment passed where the 3/4ths of the states’ legislatures concurring for approval would sail through.....Fantasy..
So letting each state decide is "the end of abortion." I don't think California, New York and about a dozen or so other states are going to end abortion.
We don’t have TV connection and have not for almost 10 years.

To each their own. But news/entertainment travels around in
many different methods. Have a nice day.
Killing = slaughter = ending life = murder = Reproductive Rights = Women’s health = abortion = infanticide no matter what name you attach to it
WHAT "end of abortion?" This coming decision about Roe v Wade merely puts the issue back to the states.
It wasn’t FNC’s stated position; just an op-ed by a lefty. This, from the attribution at the end of the story:
Rachel O’Leary Carmona is the executive director of Women’s March. Based in Amarillo, Texas, Carmona has a long record of non-profit experience and activism, and has previously held leadership positions with Amnesty International, Girl Scouts of the USA, and the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).
Well Rachel, women always have the option to take the prospect of getting pregnant more seriously, and act more responsibly regarding birth control, abstinence or sterilization.

Stop. When fox gives at least equal time to someone with common sense …
