A Russian official has boasted that Russia would destroy NATO countries in "half-an-hour" if conflict escalated to the use of nuclear weapons.
Dmitry Rogozin, Head of Russia’s Space Agency Roscosmos and former Deputy Prime Minister, said Sunday that in the event of a nuclear war, "NATO countries will be destroyed by Russia in half-an-hour."

He stressed that such an event "cannot be allowed because the consequences will impact the [entire] Earth."

“Where’s my Putin butt boys?”
Anything inaccurate in his statement?
at the cost of wut... Moscow that’s what
No; he wants you to think he's nuts. It's the only way to get mileage out of your nuclear arsenal without using it.
They are awaiting their may 9 talking points from Moscow
“Anything inaccurate in his statement?”
Come to think of it, I think it’s closer to 40 minutes.
“...ONLY LOSERS.”
Indeed. And based upon the escalation in rhetoric and propaganda from both sides, it sure appears the people in charge on both sides are pushing for it.
Very disturbing times.
Jacinda Kate Laurell Ardern, ... a four-namer, she’s gotta be important in the Orwellian future of Kiwis.
It really depends on NATO(USA) having an anti missile defense that Russia knows not of. DoD says it has no defense against the fractional orbital hypersonic missiles and we did officially shut down the rapidly progressing laser weapons that could provide that defense under Pres. Hussein.
Both sides would lose in about 30 minutes.
The wire connecting the red button was sold for booze long ago. For the same reason missile defense on the Moskva couldn’t handle decades old Ukrainian missiles and fuel supplies ran out on the way to Kiev.
Everyone got their cut and figured none of it would actually ever be needed...
(Very disturbing times)
Indeed. These interesting times we live in are ... Interesting indeed.

I’m not far from a primary target (unnamed publicly nor privately). The initial (no doubt multiple) strikes there wouldn’t get me but the fallout / nuclear winter would.
Yes, plenty. NATO countries, not just the USA, have nuclear weapons. Mostly sub launched, and those pesky British and French submarines aren’t wallowing, noisy whales like your Russian boats.
Don’t you think those sub commanders are going to be just a bit angry if London and Paris go away?
Would Russian nuclear weapons even work? They actually require a tremendous amount of periodic (almost constant) maintenance to keep them viable and a lot of money is required to do that. In the meantime, it’s not like they’re being used.
Suppose the officers in charge skimmed off some of those Rubles in order to extend the new Dacha, buy that Mercedes or that sleek Italian yacht? If they couldn’t even keep the armored tires from going flat, perhaps the nukes will just fizzle on the launch pad.
BTW, the USAF and USN know where your leadership’s hidey-holes are. They are marked for a new kind of bomb, launched by stealth aircraft that Russia can’t track, that penetrate underground bunkers.

See minute marker 1:28 through :34. That’s a deep strike bomb, going to go boom underground. The magnitude 10 earthquake’s going to end the Kremlin tyrants dreams quick.
I hate that this has to happen, but playing fast and loose with nuke talk is just bad, and Russians need to stop it.
Also if Russia goes for it, China will also be destroyed by out nukes. Xi better realize thuis, as well as all the tin pot dictators. Israel would nuke Iran too.
You willing to bet your life on that?
Yeah, I think the nuclear war is going to be quick. It's not going to be a bomb here or there. Everything's going to launch at once.
