The Azov battalion ARE neo-Nazis. They have been using civilians as human shields and they and other Ukrainian nationalists have been persecuting the ethnically Russian population for eight years.This simplistic narrative of Russia bad, Ukraine good. Is a lie.
Ukraine doesn't resemble a democracy or free country. Zelensky has imprisoned opposition leaders, banned or suspended all opposing political parties and has banned opposition media outlets.
THANK GOD they were deleted - we need to maintain our war footing, or we won’t get the WW3 we all want.
Right now there is a story on Yahoo of the “Russians raping while the loved one’s forced to watch”.
For some reason, one of the Azov Nazi has just been apprehended for doing exactly the same to the Mariupol couple and then killing the husband.
I think the similar “Russian” story is a lie planted for distraction from the real story. This war is officially the end of journalism.
Just like the stories of Germans bayoneting Belgian children.

That was an intentional wartime propaganda, not an attempt to imitate objective reporting. The volume of fake news regarding the Ukrainian situation is just mind-boggling.

So, invader is met by defender, defender vows to protect homeland, with his utmost. So, old hatred flames.

But it was all-out ended when they immediately called Trump a liar for saying the election was stolen, and continue to do so in, literally, EVERY article on the subject. At most, they can say that Trump is making “unsupported claims” that the election was stolen, but the bottom line is that there exists TONS of evidence that really bad things happened here, and literally NONE of them are given any credence.
So the crap with Ukraine is no surprise to us MAGA types, which is why they don’t support the war. The people making the most noise either don’t live in the US, or are Neocons.
The Ukraine is fortunate in that its invasion coincides with an intense, innate hatred of Russia AND the leftist dogma STILL being perpetuated that “Russia, Russia, Russia” is responsible for Trump -—— and MAGA.
It doesn’t help truth and reason that their current plight, bolstered by support from leftist America that hates Trump, is ALSO aided by war-mongering RINOS and MIC payees aching to cash in on more war, protracted unending war through which they will make billions.
Why, their plight supersedes ALL of our US problems: crippling inflation, more taxes coming, rampant debt, completely unchecked invasion on our Southern Border and unending whining about abortions, menstrual dignity and the pandemic that isn’t.
I for one am not willing to countenance WWIII for a country whose leader berates and carps at every foreign governmental body that we OWE him everything we have for war - including the risk of nuclear exchange......

The over the top support of Ukraine by the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff should give anyone pause.
The We Stand With Ukraine banners popped up everywhere on the Internet overnight.
An elderly, senile friend who was a lifelong Libertarian and does not even own a television now hates and fears Putin, thinks he is worse than Hitler, and wants us to go to war with Russia.
Kind of like what I see here.
