There is a popular theoretical question - "would you have killed Hitler in the 30s if you knew what was to come?" Many people answer "yes."

I believe most radicalized (and unfortunate many few remaining normal) liberals feel the same way about Trump. Lacking a time machine, the 2020-equivalent question was "would you steal the election by whatever means, to remove Trump from office?" Because, ya know, he's Hitler.

This is the unspoken but likely truth about 2020...I bet most Bidet supporters KNOW that the election was fraudulent, and it is very likely that Trump won by a mile. But, because Orange Man Bad, they grip onto whatever half-baked rationale for the results to keep the opposition stopped, and feel morally justified in stealing the election.

Thus, they never destroyed the economy etc over the flu in the past, because there wasn't a "moral imperative" to do so.
